Tired Food, Tired Menu, Tired Chef
by JoeyMess
This was the first new restaurant to open in West Chester in quite a while. They have stood pat while many exciting and new restaurants open all around them. Their food quality has been surpassed by almost every restaurant in town, not to mention their complete lack of parking. I even had a friend who's wife was approached, on numerous encounters by the head chef who would bring out special dishes for her to try. She finally ended up having an affair with the guy. Not only is that completely unprofessional but leaves an awful taste in my mouth since she is a married women and would often bring her children with her to the restaurant. Needless to say I will not be dining there anytime soon nor I would I recommend it to anyone. Service has always been fair and now it is no longer crowded as people choose to dine elsewhere. Even the chef's special which is sliced cheese and sausage, can be found at most poker games around the area.
- Pros: No lines
- Cons: Parking, food preparation, food choices
Upscale suburban pub chain that brews its own beer--good beer, too.

In Short
Iron Hill's first month of operation saw such success that managers had to rush in beer from competing local microbreweries to quench the thirsts of the parched masses. Despite its tidy, expensive appearance, Iron Hill is still a good hang for drinkers, especially after dark. Not all ale and lager, the restaurant prides itself on maintaining a steady flow of interesting flavors from the kitchen in grand-fusion manner.
