The Scene
The store teems with young, active, energetic men and women who look to be fresh from a casting call for the store's latest commercial. Equally fit clerks--indistinguishable from the customers but for the tiny headsets attached to their ears--sail back and forth between the seeming sameness of men's and women's sections.

The Goods
One might imagine that the company invented khakis and the accompanying neutral color palette of clothes that match the celebrated pant. Almost every item you need for a casual wardrobe is available at the Gap. Jeans are available for men and women, as are sweaters, jackets, T-shirts, pajamas and even underwear.
