"THE BEST" JUST DOES NOT DESCRIBE IT!

Having moved to Philly almost 10 years ago I decided to cover every area of the city and experience the food and "culture' of each neighborhood, from the far Notheast down to South Philly. Yesterday, I discovered that I was wrong about having been served the best hoagie in the city. Lombardi's at 12th and Ritner, deli was neat and clean, the staff more than fiendly and the most importiant part of the experience, THE ITALIAN INFERNO. According to their menu, I have 19 more hoagie to try, AND I CAN NOT WAIT! THE BEST HOAGIES ARE BY FAR SERVED UP AT LOMBARDI'S.

Buying Primo Just for The Name? - Try the REAL BEST in Philly!

I have been a loyal customer since they opened on Ritner Street. I try to grab their incredible Italian or Italian Inferno at least once a week. Why? Because it really is the best sandwich I have ever had. I have introduced several co-worked and friends to the amazing taste of a Lombardi's Hoagie... the result is always the same. PERFECT! I simply will not look anywhere else for party trays, or hoagies. They are by far the best in Philly... period.

Try them you will not be disappointed.

• Pros: Best Hoagie - Same time... every time!
• Cons: Not open on Sundays

Great Hoagies.

The Italian and the American are my favorites. Just a straight up satisfying hoagie experience. I've gotten their hoagies maybe 100 times; I've never had a bad one. Very consistent, something I can't say for some other places in the neighborhood.
