Great Food
by dotsky
The food was great as usual......but...........the ladies room was disgusting. I went from stall to stall....the toilets were not flushed...one was stopped up.....overflowing....I had to lift my foot to flush the toilet I was not touching anything.....Thank God I had plenty of tissues....If I didn't have to go so bad I would have left but I was on my way to a funeral....I was afraid my clothing was going to take on the smell of the bathroom.
I think a cleaning girl should be locked up in there until she get it in order......A LOTTA BLEACH IS NEED IN THAT ROOM......I COULD HEAR IT SCREAMING CLEAN ME PLEASE.
- Pros: MY BREAKFAST WAS GREAT....
- Cons: DIRTY BATHROOM (LADIES ROOM)
yummy

Have been going to Oregon Diner for 16 years now,and I never get tired of it.My personal fave are the Chicken Croquettes, which are really good(although, more breading/not enough chicken) and you get a decent size salad with your dinner..They also have various combos that come with drinks, your dinner and dessert. Not outrageously priced and well worth the money
- Pros: great food,good prices
- Cons: parking a lil tight out front
VERY LOUSY FOOD

Me & my husband ate there tonight and the food was just horrible!! The mashed potatoes were instant, the stuffing for the roast pork was slimy and tasteless, I ordered some kind of pasta dish that was supposed to have Ricotta Cheese in it, and of course the forgot to put the ricotta cheese in it, I had to ask for it after the dinner was delivered. The coffee didn't taste like coffee at all. The only thing that we enjoyed was the salad and how can you mess up a salad? They had the "NERVE" to charge us $35.00 for what resembled "GARBAGE"!!! The waitress was nice though. We left her a $10.00 tip for her kindness. We didn't go there for the waitress, we went there to enjoy the food!!! NEVER, EVER again will we patronize the "Oregon Diner"!!!!
I urge no one to go there unless they like garbage food!!
A very unsatisfied customer,
Michele Angelista & Thomas Verratti
P.S. We would like a refund if at all possible!!
Excellent food, friendly staff

I'm a scrapple snob, and these folks make it nice and crispy and as close to perfect as I've ever had. That alone would make me rate them highly, but I am also impressed with the attentive, friendly staff and the plentiful parking. I make it a point to stop by every time I'm in town.
- Pros: food, service, parking
- Cons: none

South Philly's premier 24-hour dining destination for scrapple, cheese steaks and grilled cinnamon buns.

In Short
Inside, single seniors gather at the counter, bigger families head to the nonsmoking area in the back and the hung over masses squeeze into the smoking section's green leather booths to scan the CD jukeboxes while they wait for all-day breakfast. The menu's color photos of creamed chipped beef may be a little off in hue but otherwise they're pretty accurate. A couple of nice surprises: generous, tender cheese steaks and dense grilled cinnamon buns.
