Although infinite is one of the best places in the area to get jewelry, I definitely would not recommend getting pierced there. I recently had a double lip piercing and had a very bad healing experience. My lip swelled up so much that it swelled over the short-posted piercing that they gave me. It also made my whole bottom lip deeply bruised for over three weeks. At first, I just disregarded this as a mistake (everyone makes them) and decided to go back there to have my piercings changed after a few months. I had been having a hard time with losing my jewelry and was looking to buy two lip rings that I wouldn't have to worry about the studs and catch-balls falling out and losing them. The piercer recommended two new pieces to me and changed them out for me. That night when I got home while talking to a friend, the catch-ball of my hoop fell out onto the floor and my new $30 lip ring was lost. The "worry free" ring was lost after a day. I do not recommend going to Infinite for anything involving a piercer. I recommend their jewelry, but if you really want to have a trouble free experience, don't let them pierce you or change your jewelry.
Pros: Great Jewelry
Cons: Poor skills

i loved infinite. i went there to get my nose pierced and it was great. my piercer was really cool and liked ninjas but at the same time was very informative and knew what he was doing. I havent had any problems with the piercing or the jewelry. i would recommend this place to everyone.

Well, i just got my vertical nipple pierced yesterday 11/13/07, and i had a really good experience. I would def say to go on a week day the shop was empty and everyone was really cool, while i was waiting i talked to the counter help and admired all their beautiful earrings. the process was quick and the piercer was really chilll. it hurt like a son of a gun(i convinced myself it wouldn't be bad, but it kinda was) but thats no ones fault. i would def recommend this place. its a clean professional atmosphere and they'll answer any questions you have. good luck!!
Pros: clean, comfortable
Cons: a little expensive but thats what you pay for comfort and a good piercing

I got my nose pierced at Infinite and although that went alright, the general attitude of the piercer sucked. They are too busy and will admit it gets to them so they take it out on their customers. They recommended a tip "if you don't want it lopsided or messed up." People who came in after me were taken first and when I asked how long the wait was, the piercer flipped out that "he was the only one on duty and was doing his best" ...I just wanted to know if I would need to feed the meter. Later, I went to get the nostril screw adjusted and when I arrived at the shop they were closing 2 hours early and said they wouldn't help me...even though I called before I came to ask their hours! When I finally got it adjusted, it still fell down continuously. I went back a second time (the adjustment was worse) and the metal was always hanging and finally a third when I was told 90% of nose screws "fall down" and I was just the only one complaining about it! They sold me labret jewelry instead which was ugly, poorly fitting and uncomfortable. I finally checked with a more professional piercer and 5 mins & $5.00 later, I had a comfortable fitting nostril screw (the original) properly re-bent and it NEVER falls down even when I touch my nose. SAVE TIME AND MONEY, GO NEXTDOOR to TIKKI TATTOO..see Luis.
Pros: none
Cons: too many to name

I went to Infinite about 9 months ago to get my left tragus pierced. My husband who was a piercer told me that this is only place he would go to if he were to have anything pierced. Clay was my piercer. He was very friendly, discussed with me at length about pro and cons of getting such small (20) gauge piercing (to match the one I had on my right tragus, which I got at Cambridge MA a year ago). He even told me that he would pierce my older piercing to bigger gauge (to 18 G). I was stubborn, and he finally agreed to pierce my left tragus with the smaller gauge, since my right one healed up well. I didn't know that having 20 G tragus piercing would give problems, that was never discussed when I got my right one pierced at another place. Clay made sure that my left piercing was in line with my right one. He was funny, and talked me through the whole process. They also had a nice selection of jewelry. I was able to get a nice 14 k ring. Would definitely go there again if I were to get anything else pierced.

Infinite is a very clean shop with an amazing selection of jewelry. The staff knows what they're talking about, too, but I am very shocked at the good reviews about their customer service. The counterstaff is downright rude 80% of the time, and not just to me. I've seen them pretty much verbally thrash someone while I was waiting to get pierced. The piercers have always been pleasant, but you can tell they are way overworked, as poor Kevin (one of the best piercers there) almost always looks like he's been trampled by a stampede. What I did like about them was that they didn't hesitate to send me to another shop when they didn't feel experienced enough to do something I wanted. I wanted to get a pair of hip surface piercings, and Kevin was honest that he didn't have experience with them, so he sent me to Luis at No Ka Oi down the street, who honestly did have way more experience with surface piercing, and was extremely pleasant (he apparently used to work at Infinite, since their website is almost 70% Luis' work, but that's another review). I'll throw in that the counterstaff at No Ka Oi was WAY nicer than the "I'm cooler because I'm more pierced than you" counterstaff at Infinite. If by chance the owner of Infinite ever reads this, do yourself a favor and either get new counterstaff, or start treating your employees a little better. Your piercers look overworked, and your counterstaff is downright nasty.
Pros: Insane selection of jewelry
Cons: Mean counterstaff, overworked piercers, "holier than thou" attitude.

I've watched my friend get her lip done here and she said they were really good. She had Clay pierce her. Two days ago, she went back with another friend to get her tragus pierced and her nose... and the other got her tragus and tongue pierced. Clay is an awesome guy, from what I hear. Their pricing is impeccable! I'll be going there in the next two hours to go get my lip piercing. I'm cool. Infinite is too. GO THERE!

I went to Infinite two years ago for a lip piercing. I was kind of nervous, mainly because I didn't tell my parents I was getting it done, but it was something I had wanted for a few years. My piercer, Kevin, was really nice and brotherly towards me, and he was concerned about whether I was nervous or uncomfortable. I went back again for a second lip piercing 9 months later. My piercer this time was Jen, she was funny and nice. Both times were great experiences, and my piercings healed nicely. For both times I was given an alcohol-free mouthwash to clean my piercings as they were healing. I went back once to get different rings, and after explaining what I wanted, the workers there all recommended I keep the ones I had. The staff there are just really great and the best part of the experience of getting a new piercing.
Pros: service, price, cleanliness
Cons: somewhat long waiting period

Greatest piercing place in Philadelphia by far. The staff is always helpful and always ready to make accomodations for you. Their hours are great, service is fantastic, and they are looking out for your best interests. If they think a piercing won't look good for you (due to placement or just your general features) they will tell you in a positive and empathetic way, and suggest other possible piercings. It's kinda like being mothered, which, while in such a high-anxiety environment as a piercing parlor, is a nice thing.
Pros: Clean, Helpful Staff, Friendly.
Cons: None that I can think of.
