Extremely Rude Experience
by Johnny412
I regret to write a review like this, and it is my first time doing so.
I just left the Java location on 4th and South after being badgered by a barista if i was ready to order a drink. A common place to meet associates and friends, I was waiting in the back room for a friend to arrive and was getting myself settled in to do some business. I was not there a mere 10 minutes before being asked numerous times if my friend was coming soon, and that I had to order then and there just to stay in the location. ...of course, not wanting to be rude and order before my friends arrived, i was waiting to order my drink. Was I to stand outside twirling my thumbs in wait, or can I simply sit down??
I live a stones throw away from their 2nd and Christian location and go there everyday for my coffee, well, went there for my coffee. I will never again visit either location. It does my no pride to write such a review, but the lack of respect shown was incredulous
- Pros: Was a great place to go
- Cons: You can only stand so much
Sit and work
by abynormal25
This is a great coffee shop to sit and get work done. Good snacks, good coffee, and free internet. It can be hard to find a comfortable seat to do work, but once you do, you can stay for hours.

This place just oozes charm. The staff is always friendly and personable, the coffee and tea are great, as is the food, and better yet, UNLIKE Cosi and Starbucks - this place has free internet that you can actually use without having to set up an account to pay for it! And, another plus for us laptop users, it has plenty of places to plug your laptop in - always a plus. I too understand the allure of a starbucks latte, but give this place a chance - you won't regret it!
- Pros: Great coffee and tea, free wireless internet access and lots of plugs for your laptop
- Cons: Cash only
only a coffee house...

They serve regular coffee that you can get anywhere else. I just like to sit there tho n observe. Nothing more; the place is really comforting.
Local roasts and wireless Internet access attract a quiet crowd to this neighborhood coffeeshop.

In Short
This cafe, with exposed-brick walls, two-person tables, world music and monthly art shows is a popular refuge for those seeking a quiet place to work on the laptop, hold a casual business meeting, or sip La Colombe cappuccino. Blueberry scones, bagels and croissants are light breakfast options. Lunch choices include tomato-mozzarella-basil panini, green salads, lentil soup and labneh--an open-faced slab of bread slathered in cream-cheesy Lebanese yogurt, green olives and olive oil.
