No longer in business

This diner has been closed, as in not open for business, for months as of the first if April, 2008.
Maybe not the best spot in the city to eat, but at morning's first light, your options are pretty slim.

After stepping through the turnstile at this South Philly dining outpost, you'll notice the overabundance of Formica and simulated wood-grain veneer. The menu offers everything you'd expect from a greasy spoon--rather bland and a little pricey--but it works. The coffee's hot and trong. Soft drinks are served in paper cups. Stick to the simpler dishes--you can't go wrong with the scrapple and home fries.
