Chef's Market is the best kept secret in Philadelphia. Visit the store and see for yourself. It's run by local people who are usually at the store and who care about the quality of their products. The prepared food offerings (hundreds) change daily, baked stuff is just super special, their produce is fresh, flavorful and fruit is bigger than other stores offer. Its all there, fish, butcher, baker, caterer, appetizing. There's even lunch daily and a sidewalk cafe. If they don't have it, they'll get it or make it for you. They've been working hard at it for over fifteen years and they really are the best in town!

Pros: product selection, customer satisfaction, new food ideas

Cons: some items pricey, neighborhood
