Fresh Seafood , cooked any you want it

Seafood emporium ! This truly reminds you of the Cafes, open markets in France and Italy. The house sauces are outstanding , the inside is intimate, and great hospitality. This was our first time there my wife & I most definitely will be back. Portions are generous and wines truly Italian. Parking was Ok, plenty of spaces and the neighborhood is a reminder of open Italian markets.

• Cons: too much to chose from

In the heart of the Italian Market, this ambitious fish-market restaurant is literally that--tables set up in the center of a family-owned and operated seafood store. Consequently, ambiance is minimal; service is down-home and aggressively friendly. Prices are reasonable despite a few precious items like surf and turf. Homemade ravioli, an Italian Market tradition, are stuffed with lobster and crab; other pastas feature shrimp scampi, rock shrimp, and shrimp carbonara.

My husband and I stopped in for a late Saturday lunch. The food was great! The accompanying vegetables were great, too. The waitress couldn't have been nicer. We will definitely return.

Far from average, as indicated editorially. You can't get fresher or better prepared seafood anywhere else. Great, friendly, prompt service. Dollar for dollar, a "Best Buy." My rating is a 10 (I couldn't enter a numerical rating).

WORTH THE TRIP!

I live in NJ, but Anastasi's is worth the trip. The fish is so fresh and they cook it any way I like. Whether I'm in a healthy steamed mood or a fried frame of mind they always do it just right! Each time I go I find a new favorite!

I loved the dining experience that I had there. I was greeted appropriately and in a timely manner.
