A classic diner with a well-earned reputation.

In Short
Established in 1932, the Mayfair is a classic train-car diner with all the stainless steel you can handle. The interior has been meticulously preserved, with vinyl booths and metallic lighting fixtures kept immaculately clean. Waitresses, too, are from another era, wearing crisp pink uniforms and offering sardonic and expert service. Burgers, eggs and Salisbury steak sit alongside staples like chicken salad and hash as well as a German influence by way of bratwurst and sauerkraut.
