Didn't want to leave. I spend a lot of leisure time in Philadelphia, and my recent weekend at the Alexander was the most relaxed and laid-back I have ever experienced. Inobtrusive soft jazz music, a very comfortable sitting area with an impressive continental breakfast, a stocked fitness center, internet access, and lovely deco furnishings serve to make this inn my new favorite.
