Do not waste your time going here. The girls working in the shop weren't very nice or helpful, in fact they were looking down their noses at us. Apparently making an appointment doesn't matter because we weren't tended to at all and they weren't even busy! The dresses were a bit much and there wasn't a big selection of bridesmaids dresses either. After this horrible experience, we went to Jay West in Haddonfield, NJ which was great, try there instead!
Pros: nothing
Cons: almost everything

The last post was so OBVIOUSLY written by the owner or management. Had a very recent appointment and I don't have the time or energy to detail the horror that is this store. In a nutshell, unmotivated service by an unknowledgeable salesperson (I won't name names since they ALL seemed that way) and witnessed a bride arguing at the front desk about her "just-arrived" gown she suspected was actually a floor sample. That was all I needed to see. I had to see for myself after reading so many bad reviews. I guess it was the optimist in me. Now I know better -- I ran out of there with my money & my peace of mind. I suggest you do the same....

I got married this past March 2008 and my wedding gown was beautiful. I ordered my gown in May 2007 from Bridals by Danielle and my consultant (Jennifer) was very sweet and very accomodating. She kept me posted on every detail of my gown and my bridesmaids gowns. She promised me that she would mail to me a swatch of the lace from my gown and indeed, two weeks later, I received a thank you note which included the swatch. Overall, I had a very good experience in the store and also my bridesmaids were all happy with their gowns. I also received from them a beautiful gift which I am using frequently. I would recommend this store to any of my friends.
Pros: The owner was very knowledgeable and it was ovbvious she trained the staff

After shopping many bridal shops we found the PERFECT Badgley Mischka dress at Bridals by Danielle. The problem was I had read some poor reviews (on this site) and I was nervous to purchase our dress at this store. I had a frank discussion with the owner, Danielle, and she explained to me how long she had been in business and these reviews were unfair and that she had not been able to tell her side of story. I told her that we would take her on her word and we purchased our beautiful dress during the trunk show that was fabulous. The shop itself is elegant, collection of gowns is exquisite and the sales consultant was patient and friendly. The manufacturer representative was very helpful and offered us plenty of advice for this purchase. Too many times sour grapes spoil things for others. Don't take an anonymous person's word for it. (mine included) Visit Danielle and make your own judgements.
Pros: exquisite collection of bridal gowns

In August 07,I bought a designer gown- or what once was a designer gown. The sales girl was horrible, but I loved the dress. She took my measurements but failed to properly input my height when ordering the dress. At the first fitting in January, we realized that not only was the dress a size 10 ( I am a size 2 in normal clothes) but that it was 8 inches too long! The sales person failed to put in the hollow to hem measurements when ordering the dress. All of the detail was at the bottom of the mermaid style dress and there were no seams in the dress making it impossible to shorten from the bottom! I asked for the owner but she was not there. They pulled up my account and saw that my correct measurements were in there, it was ordered wrong. I had to call the owner on Monday who was SO RUDE. I couldn’t believe that I was speaking to someone who owner a business. She refused to order a new dress, said it wouldn’t not get there in time for my May wedding. I even offered to pay the rush charge that the designer demanded to guarantee delivery 2 weeks before the wedding. She said her seamstress could "fix it" or they give me money back and I go find a dress elsewhere. Finally, I allowed them to "fix it". they ended up sending the dress back to designer to have the corset reboned bc it was sticking out. The seamstress is very nice&while the bottom came out nice, the top was just not right. Too big, it did not lay nicely, it was refitted to me 7 TIMES up until three days before the wedding & it never was right! I was in tears in the dressing room & the owner says to me, “where else could you get a designer dress for 3000K!” I looked at her in horror& said its not about the money,I would have rather paid more for it to be right! The dress never fit right, in spite of the seamstress best efforts. By the end of the wedding, it was practically falling off of me. DO NOT GO HERE. THE OWNER IS BEYOND RUDE and if you do get a dress, better hope nothing goes wrong with it!
Cons: everything

I usually do not write reviews because I give stores the benefit of the doubt, but this can not go unsaid-for your sake. I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from this store. The service was rude, they could not care less about us because we were not buying an expensive bridal dress, 'just bridesmaids'. After being greeted with looks up and down by the owner and basically ignored by the sales girl, we should have known better but alas, I ordered my dresses from there. THEY ALL CAME IN WRONG. They ordered the wrong color completely and when I was upset they insisted that it was my fault, that I must have been 'confused and pointed to the wrong color' -give me a break! Two of the sizes were wrong also, and I am meticulous about keeping records of what I ordered. They would not take responsibility for their mistakes and were SO rude and unprofessional about it. Finally my Mom got involved and then they re-ordered the dresses, but told us we could not be sure that they would get here in time!! Can you imagine the stress. First of all they should never have made such a huge mistake and then the way they handled it was outrageous. The owner would not come out from the back to talk to me when I requested, I know she was there but she refused to show her face knowing that she was wrong. I can think of about a million different ways they could have handled this situation but they didn't care I guess because we had already paid. It was horrible and I hope no one else has to endure what I did at Bridals by Danielle. My cousin also had a bad experience there two years ago, there are just too many bad stories about this place, and too many other great bridal stores in our area to chance going there. Stay away.
Cons: everything

Avoid this store at all costs. If you want to have a pleasant wedding experience, get your dress somewhere else-ANYWHERE ELSE. The lies that I was told were appauling and I could not have more regret about buying my dress there. They ordered the WRONG SIZE dress for me-I had all of my bridal info written in my file, and when I showed them the truth, they would not take responsibility for it. Then they switched the tags in the dress and told me it was a brand new dress from the designer-it was not. My fiance had to see me in my dress before the wedding day because it turned into such a fiasco and we almost sued. But when we threatened that, they FINALLY gave me the correct sized dress, only one month before my wedding! It was a nightmare and I have heard many other horror stories about this store. No one cared about me or my wedding once they had my money. You can find most of the same gowns (and more) at The Bridal Garden which I have heard from friends is wonderful. Save yourself the distress, trust me.
Cons: con artists, money hungry, mean

My daughter did her entire wedding, including bridesmaids at Bridals by Danielle. Her Lazaro dress was gorgeous and the alterations were perfect. She and her wedding party loved the attention and customer service they received throughout the whole process of selecting gowns and alterations. We worked with Robin and Theresa and have referred several close friends to them. I have heard that the store is a beautiful setting for choosing the perfect dress. They also have a great selection of designers and the sample gowns are very clean, not like in another bridal salon where the gowns were very dirty. We could not be happier with our experience with Bridals by Danielle.
Pros: center city location, ambience
Cons: Parking in the street

I have to admit i went a little stressed into the store but my consultant was very helpful and I felt very comfortable while trying different dresses on. My mom was with me and I fell in love with a beautiful lace gown by Edgardo. I wanted to change the neckline a little bit and the consultant arranged with the designer to have it done the way I wanted. When I purchased my gown they gave me a little present which is adorable. I have my second fitting next week and I can't wait to see my perfect dress on me. The alterations were only $375, not too bad considering what I have heard from others. I have had a great experience at the store and actually my two friends got their gowns there as well. I have not heard from them anything negative about the store. They also have great selection and they carry lines no one around has.
Pros: pleasant place which makes the bride comfortable ; great selection of gowns

I walked in the shop 2 weeks after getting engaged, alone, having no clue about the dress buying business. They seemed nice, and offered to let me try on the samples without special assistance or an appointment. When I didn't find anything I likes, they started bringing out full-priced gowns. FIne. I found one I kind of liked and then the full court press started. I have never been exposed to such high-pressure sales. They told me, "you HAVE to buy it today or else it might not come in time!" (it was mid-july, wedding is in May. The dress came in December) Even when I was worried that my mom wasn't there they dismissed me. I felt so vulnerable in their clutches and they took every advantage. FInally I agreed to get it, and innocently asked how much alterations run. $400, I asked, thinking I was way high-balling it. "Ha ha ha, no, not that much!!!" but no one gave any sort of estimate of what it could run. (ended up being $380...no, not that much!) PLus I swear they took my measurements wrong so they could order a bigger dress -- I saw my hips listed as 42 inches. I recently got measured for another dress and they were 38 and I haven't gained or lost a pound since then. First fitting was fine. Second fitting was scheduled and after walking through the rain I found that the shop was closed. I had been scheduled for an evening when they were closed. And there was no apology, just a "oh, we're not open on Tuesday nights -- as if I should have known that! The sales girls are less than friendly, but the seamstress is a sweetheart. She did an amazing job altering the dress. But otherwise...Just go someplace else where they will treat you the way a customer who ends up spending over $2000 on a freaking dress should be treated.
