Mama Palma's Gourmet Pizza

We've been eating there, and getting takeout there for years. We're glad to see them back open after a recent electical fire. The pizza list is extensive and imaginative, and well prepared. The salads are delicious. We don't have any experience with the entrrees, though.

Pros: Great food

Cons: Can get crowded, especially on weekends

I've read enough about this clown on here that I will never set foot in this place. The stories about this guy are unreal and I can't believe there are still patrons of this place.

While the Pizza in this place is pretty good., I have to agree with the others about the owner. I've eaten in this place a couple of times, and most recnetly with a large group of friends. Someone in our group accidentally dropped and broke their glass (accidents happen) and the owner was outraged as if we purposely did this. He yelled and screamed at our poor waitress (as if it was her fault) and then at us. I will never go back!!!!

The pizza is the only thing I've had, but i've probably had every one on the menu. Each one is better than the last.Plus, the staff is so freindly! I even got a sparkling water on the house!

Pros: food,price,service

I was party to a disgraceful episode at this pizza restaurant. Following a request by a customer with children for space for a stroller, the customer was told to get out of the restaurant and take his (profanity) children with him. This episode was followed by a fist fight in which the customer was beaten about the face and eyes. The children were petrified by this violence as was I. Noteworthy, a number of other patrons left the restaurant sickened by the hostility they witnessed. I cannot recommend Mama Palma to anybody.

I went there with my family although they served water in sippy cups they were very unfriendly. They made us wake our sleeping baby as they would not allow strollers in the restaurant. When the baby woke up we placed her in a highchair and were cursed out (yes in front of the kids) by the owner for not moving her fast enough. Then the owner went after my husband as we left the establishment. The wait staff looked sick as they held him back! My kids saw this. I would never bring children there it is not a safe environment for young children let alone adults.

Pros: Not Sure What to Say

Cons: Out of control thug for an owner

I love this pizza. The choices are inventive (marscapone cheese on pizza - fantastic!) My partner and I order a salad and a small pizza and we feel like we've had a great dinner and not over-indulged. The food always tastes fresh and they have a nice selection of beer. Just remember to bring cash.

Pros: best pizza around; at the end of the day staff will give you left-overs

Cons: place can get crowded.

Horrible treatment. Owner was rude from the moment we walked in the door. We left without eating. Keep working that Palma you slimy punk.

I concur with all the negative reviews about the owner. I've seen the type of behavior they describe (yelling at a customer for asking for a particular table and then at the server for even considering their seating request). It's also very interesting that after negative reviews, very often someone with little or no review history will quickly post a 100% rave about the food, service, and the owner, even claiming to have been there numerous times and never seeing any of the bad behavior reported by others. A shill, maybe? Given the number of negative reviews, and their consistency, it seems very unlikely - very - that a frequent customer would not have seen evidence at least once of the owner's or waitstaff's bad behavior. Go if you want (few say the pizza is not good), but you'd be well served to consider the significant risk of customer abuse.

Pros: Pizza

Cons: Owner/staff abuse that makes the pizza not worth it

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!! Not sure if everyone knows but this is the greatest gormet pizza I have ever had and I adore the owner he always gives us a free polenta bread or free dessert..def worth a try if you havent been.
