Cute boutique

I really like Plage Tahiti. The salesgirl was really friendly and extremely helpful. She helped me pick out a top and a belt that I normally would not have, but they looked great on me. They have a huge selection of jeans upstairs, tons of Michael Stars tees & tanks, and unique pieces too. It is pricey, but I only go there for jeans and special items. I would recommend checking it out.

• Pros: helpful staff, great selection
• Cons: hard to find things/weird layout

New York Attitude in Center City

Plage Tahiti has a decent selection of pieces from relatively difficult to find labels. I've shopped here to avoid paying NYC's 8.3% sales tax on clothing. But, the service is pretty awful -- the saleswomen are usually too busy conversing about their love lives or fawning over each other to notice when you might need help, which is kind of weird considering they're all heavily made-up women in their 50's. Considering the personal style of the staff, maybe it's not such a bad thing they don't help you.
