Who are you

I came up with idea for knit wits,inc, comfortable clothes all year round, knitted by hand, relatively cheap prices, orders online. How long you have been there, how many customers do you have and how did you actually get started with my idea. I saw your store photo online Sun evening and I was surprised to see that it was clothing store with some dresses and other things that look nice. I think you should change the name so that other people do not think this is copy right like I do

Great Store!!

I've been a regular shopper at Knit Wit for years and I can't say enough how much I enjoy going in there. They always seem to have what I'm looking for and if they don't have my size in something they can usually get it from one of their other locations. The saleswomen are great and always remember me and my style of clothing. Great selection and beautiful clothing!

Saved an out-of-towner in a business trip bind

I'm not from Philadelphia so I wasn't familiar with Knit Wit until recently. I was in town on a business trip and of course, the airline lost my luggage. I was completely stuck - I had NOTHING besides what I wore on the plane. Thankfully someone at the hotel recommended that I go to Knit Wit. The sales woman was extremely helpful and could put an outfit together better than I could! She was able to completely outfit me for all of my meetings and dinners for the next couple of days and I love everything I bought. Except for the shoes, it was a one-stop shopping experience. They even told me where to go for dinner!

top notch quality

My mother used to shop here when I was a kid and they were on 17th St. around the corner. They still have the most stunning collection of fine clothing in the city. It's very pricey but in terms of quality it is worth every penny! The fabrics are so good that I find I can wear things for several years as opposed to chain store clothing which generally looks crappy after one season. Do the math!

Knit Wit/ Plage Tahiti

Why does everyone forget the Knit Wits (sister) store around the corner ? The clothes are beautiful and the jewelry and accessories are to die for ! Plage Tahiti 128 s 17th /corner of 17th and Sansom Street.If your looking for something special you will find it on one of their 2 levels . You will not want to leave without buying something! If you leave empty handed, you were not in the wrong store,You were in the wrong state of mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best womens clothing store in the region

Knit Wit is a Philadelphia icon; it's a women?s clothing store that has been outfitting, assisting, and serving women for many years. The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to assist. The clothes are gorgeous - everything from paul smith to marc jacobs to DVF and much much more. Pants, dresses, sweaters, skirts, accessories. The jewelry selection is breathtaking - unique, beautiful pieces that you will covet. I highly recommend you visit Knit Wit in Philadelphia, Bryn Mawr, or Margate, NJ. You will be very happy you did!

Great Sales People, Great Selection

The Knit Wit in Ardmore is the best--great selection, and the sales women are all very friendly, helpful and down-to-earth. Joanne, in particular, has a great talent for assessing your personality and directing you to exactly what you didn't even know you were looking for. I love Knit Wit!

Not Friendly At All!

I stopped in this store last week because the Prada tee-shirts were pretty cute and I wanted to purchase one for my sister whom is a Prada-Freak. The girls that worked in the store were not welcoming and stared at me right from the door. In fact, they treated me like I did not below there.

Sorry you missed out on meeting a very nice, cheery young lady that had no problem spending cash/using my credit card in your store. I've informed my colleagues and friends of my treatment too.

Learn to choose people on the content of their character, not their color/race.

There's nothing to buy here

You'll pay so much more here than necessary. Recently I saw a DVF dress for $475, when Bloomies sold it on clearance in August (6 mos ago) for $245. Ther rest of the selection is overpriced, boring and unimaginative. Danielle Scott shoes and bags are also last season items sold at full price. I always leave this store empty-handed.
