VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER

First off DC1206, you are highly mistaken. Ambiance Salon and Spa is very accomodating to ALL clients. When i come in to get my color done there are signs displayed everywhere in the building stating you can put a smock on so there is no risk of getting color on your clothes. It is your responsibility to wear appropriate clothing or change into a smock. The owner is very generous and approachable. I think you are bitter because she did not replace your outfit, it is clearly stated that they are not responsible for damaged or lost items.

the worst salon in Delaware County

Went to the salon for my normal cut and color only to leave with a ruined shirt and sweater. Called the salon to speak with the owner three times and she said she never received any messages????? Well needless to say they offered me nothing for the damaged items and said that there are signs all over the salon that says "you are welcomed to be double gowned". I am sorry but I have been getting my hair colored for 10 years and this has never happened nor do I feel the need to wear painters gear to a salon? I was very upset with the owner and the attitude she gave on the phone. I will never be back there and also never recommend this salon to anyone!!!!!!!!!! Sorry to my hairdresser who was very nice! It's a shmae she has to work for a women as heartless and cheap!!!!!

Best Salon in PA

On Saturday, October 18th I made my first hair appointment at this salon with Donna. I was changing salons and was kind of nervous since I am very picky about my hair. I was getting my hair dyed dark brown with red in it and I had it cut also (I hate having my hair cut since I am scared they will cut it all off and I have long hair). Well the salon was beautiful, clean, and everyone was so nice. They really made me feel so comfortable there. Donna did an amazing job with my hair and it came out exactly the way I wanted it. She really knows what she is doing and I am very happy I found my new stylist. I would recommend this salon to anyone. Also, I didn?t have to wait at all, and the prices are extremely reasonable for such a great place.

Terrible Customer Service and Air Tan

I went to Ambiance to get an air tan for a wedding. I felt rushed by the woman through the entire experience, not to mention she gave me no instruction on what to do during the spray. After drying from spray one their general practice is to spray a second time to ensure that the tan is even. She said I didn't need it and even talked me out the fact that I had clearly blotchy spots on my feet and hands. She assured me it would wash off later. So I reluctantly left only to notice 3 hours later that she missed entire sections of my neck and arms! When I called in a panic the receptionist and other woman were extremely rude to me. The woman who sprayed me said ?That never happens, just shower early and rinse it off you?ll be fine?. It wasn?t. I had to go to this wedding the next day looking like a blotchy mess! $40+ tip for an embarrassing tan. I will never return to this salon!

I have been a client of Ambiance for about a year now and I absolutely love it there! The staff is very friendly! Which was very important to me. I have gone to other "high end" salons and the staff would seem to be snoby or callous....I have had several different services, hair/color, facials and massage at Ambiance....It's a very cozy, quaint atmosphere which makes your experience very comfortable. I would recommend to someone that is looking for a relaxing experience without all the pertensiveness of high end day spa's. I also felt they're pricing is on the average with other salon/spas in the area.

ambiance was heaven!

I had the day at ambiance, which is 200 dollars, and for that price, you get alittle bit of everything!!!

1 hour facial

1 hour massage

spa lunch

and a manicure and pedicure

From the moment you check in to the moment you check out, everyone you talk to a so friendly who works there You feel comfortable and relaxed the whole time, youre not made to feel like anyone there is better then you, which seems hard to find in salon and spas in this area!

i already booked my hair and salon services, and have already recommended my friends and family.

I dont know what everyone else is talking about, seems like they were more worried about picking out the small things then relaxing.

Nice salon & spa

I've been going to this salon & spa since April 2007. My experiences have been pleasant overall. There was once when a message left for someone was not relayed, but other than that I have nothing but good things to say. I am always pleased with the services that I receive there. I've had hair services and also some spa services. Jeannie, the esthetician, is great. I won't go to anyone else in PA for my eyebrows. The environment is friendly. It's not that luxurious, but the quality of the service is more important to me than what the place looks like.

Dissapointed with customer service

I was very under whelmed by my experience at this spa. I made appointments for a party of three. No one called to confirm the appointments, which was a problem since there was a mistake with our schedule. The staff made no efforts to correct the situation. The facility was clean and intimate, however the massage and the facial rooms were too brightly lit. Also, a lot of traffic can be heard from Baltimore Pike.

Nice website/Adequate spa

The best feature of Ambiance is their website. The atmosphere of the spa/salon is not luxurious, but is attractive and nicely decorated in a homey way, although to get from the reception area to the spa area, the client needs to navigate through a hall full of unsightly equipment storage. The massages, manicures, and facials are all very good. Their fees are comparable to other establishments of this type in the area. The staff could use some customer service training, however. They are not what I would describe as ?adept? at scheduling, and mix ups in this area are not infrequent; one of the massage therapists can only be described as surly. The service detracts from the overall spa experience.
