wow, this was seriously a great meal!
my husband selected a nice wine and surprised me with a dinner out. as soon as we walked in, it was like a whole different world! the decorations are authentic and it smelled so good in there.

for an appetizer i got the "sampler". it contain kafteri, baba ganoush, tzatiki and hummus, and my favorite, stuffed grape leaves! It was a slower night, so we were served right away. for my entree i order the spanakopita, which was incredible! its hard to find such a good spinach pie!

it was, unfortunately, incredibly difficult to find parking. however, it was totally worth the walk!
- Pros: beautiful interior, charming staff
- Cons: parking is tough...
GREAT FOOD

LOVE this local place! BYOB but PLUSH restaurant/bar next door sells a variety of single bottles. Owner of this place is passionate about his greek food, and works hard at it. I have never had a bad experience here. Love to sit outside during warmer months. Steak cubes in a pita, green beans, and potatos EVERY time! Desserts are homemade.
- Pros: alway satisfied
- Cons: no parking if keswick show/ reservations those nights
Authentic Greek fare, right down to the spit-roasted goat.

In Short
Eating at Athena is like walking into a big, fat Greek festival: lively, traditional folk music is piped though the speakers, ceramic dolls line the walls. Garlic and olive oil lovers will rave about the hummus and baba ghanoush. Givetzi, a baked orzo dish with marinated lamb, is flavorful and filling, and the spanakopita strikes just the right balance between feta that melts in your mouth and spinach that tastes just-picked.
Great Greek Food!

Athena's is a great place - nice location, food is outstanding - I highly recommend the appetizer sampler - the hummus and tzaziki are the best! Only down side, service a little slow!
