truly authentic mediterranean food & feel. AMAZING!

best scallops & hummus i ever had. Menu has a wide variety with specials. warm, inviting atmosphere full of friendly staff & regulars. perfectly priced for the quality and experience. great place to catch up with friend and stay awhile. chefs, owner, & manager all from Lebanon so it REAL Mediterranean food. Pub tables for casual, long bar for a drink and an app, closed off back rm for larger gatherings, and cozy dining rm.

LOVE coming here.

Best greek salad ever

Best Greek Salad ever! I absolutely love the food at Aldar and suggest it to everyone. Dont understand the wierd, bitter reviews. This place is great.

Pretty good Middle Eastern fare

The first time I ate there, i had just moved to Merion from Philly, and was really ticked off that I had to buy a full-price adult chicken fingers and fries for my five-year old kid (no children's menu.)

I hold a grudge so I had not been back for 10 years, Probably my loss, as they serve a pretty good variety of well-prepared stuff. Nice apps, and good Gyros / Chicken / Pasta dishes,

• Cons: Don't bring kids

the owner is a slumlord, who knows if the restaurant is a safe place for you and family

allows vermin in rental property, why shoudl al dar and eviva be any different

Great restaurant

We've been to this place for dinner several times and haven't been disappointed. While you're waiting for your meal, enjoy the bread they service with olive oil for dipping. The decor is really cozy, although it can get a little noisy. Parking isn't great, considering you pretty much have to drive to get there.
