As a former bride and now a maid of honor, I've been to a number of bridal salons in the area in the past 3 years. I had high hopes for Suky, and I was sorely disappointed. We went this weekend to try on dresses for my sister, who is getting married next year. Our consultant was not helpful, and we actually ended up picking out 90% of the dresses ourselves! She did not assist my sister in putting on the dresses or her undergarments, and did not even hold the dress together or bother to pin the dress when my sister came out to model the dresses! The dressing rooms were so small that no one could sit in there-- instead, my sister had to come out to model for the entire store, which might make some people very uncomfortable. I also thought their dresses were extremely pricey-- and we are willing to spend up to $3-4000. The consultant also tried to pressure my sister into buying a dress that she liked, and when she found out we weren't buying just yet, she left us and did not return! We are currently researching other salons that carry the dress my sister love, since we refuse to go back to Suky! In general, what should have been a fun and exciting experience was absolutely horrible!
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Poor service, pushy and unhelpful consultant, very highly priced gowns
