Sadly, it will be just memories from now on. I remember making this a treasured pit stop on my way home. Heck with dinner, bring on the desert, the ice cream was really really that good!

Closed after Labor Day 2006. The best ice cream hands down. So sorry to see it go. Will always be a landmark if you grew up anywhere in a hundred mile radius. Too bad they couldn't get someone to keep it open.

Great place for ice cream and food. Our boarding school , George School , took us here a few times a week and served its' ice cream in the school snack bar. It was great ice cream !! Miss it -only get to go at renunions at G.S. Scout

Best Ice Cream

Goodnoes, by far, has the best ice cream around. It takes me about 20 to 25 minutes to get there, but the ice cream is well worth the distance. We have been going there for about 45 years and it only gets better.!!!!!! Go Goodnoes !!!!

Thia restaurant is a very good place to bring a family. I lived in Newtown three years ago for 25 years and I would visit everytime I return to my home town.
