I was looking for a gym that would motivate me to actually keep coming back (as I normally get quite bored working out indoors) and this is definately it! The studio has a really great, relaxed, almost zen-like feel to it. This feeling completely dissipates once you get into the cardio room however, where you can feel the energy rising. The red lighting and the intense, fast paced music get you revved and moving as the instructor guides you through a series of cardio intervals (on a bike or treadmill). You really feel your muscles burning (already!) after the 25 minute sequence. Then it's off to lift some weights- you work at your own pace and with your own resistance, but the rest of the class and instructor motivate you to push your self to the limit. Then when your muscles have had enough it's a half hour of much welcome stretching in the form of core-strengthening yoga exercises. I'm not exaggerating when I say that every muscle was sore the next day but even so I couldn't wait for the next class. Don't be intimidated- there are different levels for different fitness levels. Each time the classes are different and each instructor has his or her own style. If you're looking for a work out that's really fun and VERY effective at a great price I highly recommend trying Fusion!
