I searched online for an international cuisine restaurant to take my mother before a show at the Wachovia Center. After reading some reviews and looking at the menu I decided here. What a terrific decision! Michael, our server, was courteous and helpful and on our next visit we will request him. We asked a ton of questions and being a server myself, I thought we were being a little bit of a pain. He stayed calm and extremely nice and attentive. My mother was espically happy that they carried fat free skim milk for her tea, which is rare for a restaurants. The tea and food presentation and taste were esquisite. The atmosphere was delightful with so many different decorations to discuss, espically while sitting in a hanging chairs. There was a nice variety of choices and after much deliberation my mother and I choose Ahi Tuna Tartare, shrimp & scallop spring rolls, hummus and a thai chicken dish. The tuna was to die for. It was so good that I put in a take out order to bring home to my husband (he also loved it). My mother is not found of Romaine lettuce which was part of the chicken dish so they happily substiuted Boston lettuce instead. It really helped make the dish. The hummus was tasty and the spring rolls were alright. The spring rolls didn't have much flavor but were a nice texture. I wouldn't order those again. The dessert presentation was so beautiful you almost didn't want to eat it. My mother enjoyed her raspberry chocolat cake while I savored my tirumasu like dessert served in a martini glass. The only negative thing that we experienced, or I should say my mother experienced, was she didn't appreciate the tempo of the music or the cool draft above her seat. Once we talked to the manager about the draft he corrected the problem immediately. So, over all, if you would like an experience in a unique restaurant with terrific service and exceptional food, this is the place for you. We plan on making another trip with realitives.

Pros: Great food, terrific service and wonderful atmosphere
