Rudeness Galore

by tbyrne

Stopped by here on a pub crawl. They have an outdoor area with tables in front of the place. So we sat down at a table, since we were outside, we all were smoking. The waiter comes out and says "You can smoke here and need to leave".

Nuff said!

  • Pros: Food looked great (but I never got the chance to try it)
  • Cons: Staff is extremely rude

Worst Bar I have ever been to

by 00007

I was told that this bar was a fun place to hang out due to the ship theme... however, upon attending I was rudely bumped in to by the wait staff then taunted to leave when voicing a complaint. the waitress actually said to out large table of 8 "see ya later." Now I don't know about anyone else but I worked as a waitress for 6 years and I would have been fired for chasing away the profits from a 8 person table. When we asked to speak to a manager as a result of our mistreatment we were referred to speak to a bus buy while the disrespectful waitress stood by and laughed. Their menu appeared to have potential however I do not believe the wait staff is capable or respectful enough to bring you anything. I would recommend a million other places before settling on this awful bar

  • Pros: Nothing at all
  • Cons: Wait staff, ambiance, service

Great time

by shap80

My buddy and I flew out to Philadelphia for the World Series last week and randomly stumbled upon the Misconduct Tavern. We got in late Friday Night and spoke briefly with a couple of the bartenders. We camb back Sunday for lunch and after about an hour the Owner came up up to us and gave me a commerative World Series Phillies Hat becaue he appreciated us coming out there to support the Phillies. Thats how you win a customer for life! The burgers were delicious and Chris and Tom couldn't have been more friendly and hospitable. We miss the Misconduct and look forward to celebrating another Phillies World Series there!

great burgers, not crowded

by scrambizle

We went to Misconduct on a quiet Sunday night when Monk's had a 45 minute wait. The bar was quiet and relaxed, and we had no trouble finding a table. The burger was great, and the onion rings were amazing. We'll definitely go back.

  • Pros: Food, relaxed atmosphere
  • Cons: not a huge selection of beers on tap

Nautical chic uptown pub serves boat drinks, big sandwiches and island dreams to a business crowd.

by Contributor

In Short
A far cry from its name's implication, this sailboat-theme restau-bar attracts a well-behaved crowd in search of an urbane Jimmy Buffett-style refuge. The spot is actually named after its former co-owner's yacht. Beneath a curved, sailcloth-swathed ceiling and facing a smattering of oceanic art is a 37-foot, zinc-topped wooden bar--the centerpiece of the long, hull-like space. Patrons gather there for tropical rum cocktails, microbrewed beer, fried oysters, and crab-catfish cakes that inspire Caribbean reverie.
