This was my first time getting my car tinted. A co worker of mine got his car done 2 weeks ago and suggested I do the same. I did my research on other shops and finally called SunSet. I got a good price and Neil had me come in this past Sat ( Aug 8th) at 10 am for his first car. He was very nice and helpful for my decision on the percentage. I went with 15 % and I must say it looks great. Neil took about 1hr 45 min for my 2 door Honda Civic Ex 06.He got every curve there was!!I would definatly go back if I was to get another car! One thing about this shop, they take their time to make sure the job is done right and perfect. I would have been a fool to go somewhere else. Thank you Neil for doing an excellent job on my civic, you just pimped my ride LOL.. I was very entertained by the Michael Jackson videos while waiting on my car!!! Keep up the good work!!
Pros: Great service and affordable!!
Cons: There are none!!!

Second brand new car I've taken to Neil in the last year and same amazing job both times. The only way it could be any better is if he had a delivery service.
Pros: Done right the first time, professional, personable
Cons: Parking, no credit...bring cash

I used Sunset for my tinting needs for the first time in 2004. My husband wanted his windows tinted on his truck for his birthday. I really wanted to give him what he wanted but knew how very picky he was about who worked on his baby. I was hesitant to just price shop around and look for the best deal but was forced to. My first call was Sunset and am happy to say they where my last. Other than the busy schedule they had that weekend.... Sceduling MY vehicle to me was tricky. Kyle's truck was tinted quickly and it was perfect. Finaly a tint shop we can trust to do great work. I shortly after decided to tint MY old hunk of junk trying beat the heat . I was so excited to see them still in business and doing well. I just got my first new car in March. I of course used Sunset on Bustleton ave.. I feel in love with my new car and wanted nothing but the best tinting on it and thats just what I got this trip the third time around. I highly recommend them if you need tint on your vehicle. Get ready to pick from a wide veriety of tint. Though it was a tough decision because of all the different kinds of tint there is they where very informational and answered all my questions about why there are those cars with that bubbled up junk on the windows. Go check them out! I promis you wont be disappointed! Keep up the great work guy's
Pros: Super friendly and even installed vent visors Free
Cons: hmmmmm none

I went to this little ol' shop kinda skeptical. I heard this was a good place from a co worker for window tinting. So, I took my new car to this place. When I was there the guy made sure I was comfy and was very informative about the different tints, and Wow, My tint job is outstanding. There are no bubbles and no lines, it just looks so good. He also informed me about tinting homes and so, why not. He tinted my house a couple weeks ago and it is way awesome! The heat doesn't come through as bad so I barely have to turn the air on. Can't wait to see my lower power bill!!! Thanks And I highly recomend this place to anyone who needs a job on their 'hooptie' or their house A+++ thanks Sunset
Pros: cooler car and my house? can't loose with these guys
Cons: none just none

I called around for different quotes. When I called, they were one of the few places that warned about the possible interference of metalized film and the antenna located in the rear windshield. Most other shops did not warn of this problem. Then when I read the manual, it also warned of this problem. I didn't want to risk the chance of using metalized film, even though other shops said there shouldn't be a problem when I asked about the intereference (after learning of the risk). So I went with the LLumar AT15 film over the metalized film. The guy at sunset was very nice and patient as I thought about which film and darkness to get. He was even nice about letting me think it over and come back. He also patiently answered my questions. I took the car in and went shopping with a friend. They called me about 2.5 hours later (4-door sedan) and said it was completed. As far as prices go, it was very reasonable, I'm still glad I chose Sunset Tint. Neil did a great job tinting my car. I highly recommend them for their service and quality. Good job Sunset
Pros: Honest, reliable, highly recommended
Cons: Not the cheapest, but worth it!

Called them up, the owner picked up the phone and was happy to answer all my preliminary questions and set me up for an appointment. Brought my g35 coupe in, they explained the different tint options, showed me samples, showed me what it would look like on the car, etc. Any question I asked they answered and I had full confidence in their knowledge and experience. I always get tint on my cars so I've been through this a few times before, and I had more confidence with this shop than any others. (first time tinting in this state however) When I came to pick up the car I was extremely happy with the work. The g35 is tricky because of all the curved windows and the front frameless windows, but everything was perfectly even and well adhered. Just flawless all around. I can't speak for the long term yet but I have no worries. Besides the shop's guarantee, the film has it's own warranty with the manufacturer. It isn't the cheapest film you can get it's LLimar but having been through this before I know this kind of film lasts, assuming it was installed properly. And I know that part was done right, so I expect to enjoy this tint for years to come. Highly recommended
Pros: well not me it's them
Cons: why didn't i get the clear bra?

This guy definitely knows the meaning of customer service. After reading a few reviews here and elsewhere, I drove up from Delaware to get my new Mazda 5's side and rear windows done along with its tail lights. It was a rainy day and he even offered to drive me across the street to a local eatery while I waited. I can not recommend him highly enough --- 5 stars -- don't bother looking elsewhere!!

I finally decided to get some tinting done, and I've heard horror stories about some of these shops - OVERPRICED, POOR QUALITY, NO WARRANTY, DAMAGE TO VEHICLE, ETC! - well I took the plunge and gave Neil a call. He was courteous on the phone, arranged to let me come over two days later, and put me at the top of the schedule for that day. He was professional in every aspect, very meticulous about his craftsmanship, and he obviously cares about his business. I walked over to Mickey D's, had a coffee, read the Daily News, and stopped back about an hour or so later. He was just finishing up, and went out of his way to explain some of the nuances to me. All told, about 2 1/2 hours, and about a third less than his competitors. He guarantees his work, and it appears to be top notch. I'll be bringing some more Crown Vics over to him, without doubt. If you'd like to see my car after it was done, send me an email at carolinaforest (at) gmail (dot) com and I'll send you a picture of it
Pros: Decent guy - easy to locate - AND IT LOOKS GREAT!
Cons: The lot is really tight - you'll probably want to get there just on time as there's no parking

Its always nice to have someone work on your car who is even more enthusiastic about it than you are. My original plan was to drop off my Forester, and walk across the street for some dinner while the work was being done. What happened is I ended up talking Subarus, motorcycles and track days with Neil (was it? I'm bad with remembering names) for the two hours he took to carefully apply my tint. From this conversation, I can tell he is a car nut, and takes great pride in the job he does on any car. He even stayed late to get me in during the week. (Please tell the wife I'm sorry about keeping you out late.) The film is high-quality and was perfectly-cut. If it wasn't so dark, it would pass for factory tint. Four days later, and it looks awesome! I've already received a few compliments on it. A few friends that run a part-time Subaru shop told me they knew a really good guy that would have done it, had they known I was looking for tint. When I told them how much Sunset charged me, they admitted their guy couldn't do it for that price. Unfortunately, I don't have any more cars that need tinting (like I need another car), but I'll definitely be back for some decal work on my motorcycles. And I will definitely recommend Sunset to anyone I know that is looking for a quality tint install. Thanks again!
Pros: Knowlegeable installer, quality tint film, friendly customer service
Cons: parking is tight - make an appointment so you can get right in
