OK, I realize that not everyone knows the word Carnitas (as evidenced by the fact that they don't even call it that on the menu) ! They are referred to as 'pork chunks' on their menu I think. But, I believe, if they refer to pork at all the pork will be made in the Carnitas fashion. I had pretty much quit ordering pork at mexican restaurants for the last 5 years or so because it was always dry. Not here! Pork is GREAT at this La Tolteca. (I don't know about other locations, but at THIS LOCATION they are AWESOME. The rest of the food is very good as well. Margaritas are too sweet, but we just order an extra shot of Tequila and split it between our two drinks. We order La Tolteca Parrilla (for Two) and often times sacrifice one of the meats to get them to put more pork 'slices' on the plate. Every time I go, I think I am going to skip the combo and go with just pork, but I enjoy the other meats as well so I order the combo with my husband. Hope this helps!
Pros: Great Carnitas, good service, and on popular nights they have a live Mariachi band!
Cons: Can't really come up with any!!

I love this place! Their food is fresh and there's so much to pick from. I am not exaggerating when I say I go here every week, week and a half. It's not a short drive either, but I just love it. They give you tons of food and the prices are amazing.
