Above all: Horrible Staff

If my experience means anything, even the most unassuming, tasteful patron will have a horrible experience at denim. A manager there threw my boyfriend out literally 5 minutes after paying cover for wearing a baseball hat, claiming he'd given him [my boyfriend] 'ten warnings' as he threw us out the door. A bartender even agreed that there was something wrong with the manager in the tone he took with us. He was a small man in an ill fitting suit, but I don't want to attribute it to his Napoleon complex. Rather, I hope he was having a bad night. I hope he doesn't randomly eject you too in the middle of a good night! Good luck. :o(

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.....I WAS LEFT TO DIE

DENIM!!! All I have to say is that this place is HORRIBLE!! All the way down to the people who attend, the owners, the bouncers....the cops....everyone is a Sc*m bag there. I was assaulted there and left to die on the dance floor. I went to Denim one night with my boyfriend....it was around 1:30 am we were walking out....when all of a sudden...one of the owners walk in with his gf and start pushing everyone out of their way IN THE CROWD UPSTAIRS. The owner pushes me back....for no reason. He thinks just because he owns a place he can treat people like dirt. So he pushes me back and my bf comes to my rescue and they kick him out for no reason. The bouncers threaten him and say we can either do this the easy way or hard way. They take him out and leave me up there....as I am walking out the psycho bimbo ugly gf grabs my neck and pursues to choke me. She caught me off guard. The owner and her start laughing in my face and say ur gunna die b***h ur gunna f****ing die. I go in and out of consciousness fighting for my last breath. As she lets go for a quick sec she continues to assault me. No one comes to my rescue...no vigilante...no bouncer...no owner no one. everyone watches and eggs the ugly b***h on. She continues to attack my head pull my hair....as I am trying to get away from tall ugly girl... she knocks me to the ground....and other guys and girls in the club join in and continue to assault me. I was knocked out..... going in and out of consciousness when I wake up to guys and girls kicking me on the floor. I scream for help and I am just left there. Finally the f*****g bouncers take the girl off me.... leave me on the dance floor lifeless...while people continue to dance. People literally were kicking me with their leg to see if I was alive or dead. Finally a girl who steps up screams someone help her do somtin....a big guy puts me to my feet as I walk out screaming and telling the whole club that I am calling the police. Everyone in the club who is there looks scared...thinking that the cops are coming... To make a long story short coincidentally the cops were parked right outside the club. I go up to their car with my bf who i reunited with outside..... i tell the cops what happened to me...and they dont give a s**t. They refused to go back in the club with me so i could point out who the b***H and pompous A** were. I told them it was the owner and his gf.....and they said it was prob some drunk guy who said he was the owner, I told the cops the girl made it clear to say that her bf was the owner....thats how I knew who he was. To make this even shorter....the cops did nothing....they are all bad. I find out later the club pays the cops to sit there....(off duty cops) to make sure no probs occur. They are all tied together in bad s**t u know what i mean. I did my research and the guy who I thought was the owner was one of the owners indeed. UGLY MF! He thinks he can get away with this s**t. He's not to smart to have his picture posted all over the internet. if he reads this your an IDIOT!!! In the end I wa taken to the hospital had contusins on my head...bruises all over my body...puffy face...It was bad!!! I DONT RECOMMENd ANYONE TO GO TO THIS CLUB. I DONT EVEN KNOW WHY IT IS STILL OPERATING. THIS IS THE worse CLUB THERE IS. IF YOU WANT YOUR GIRLFRIEND,SISTER,MOTHER...ANYONE you love or care about TO GET ASSAULTED THAN DEFF DONT GO TO DENIM...IF YOU WANT TO GET ATTACKED OR DIE GO THERE!!! I HOPE PEOPLE TAKE THIS SERIOUS FOR THEIR OWN PROTECTION.... AND I HOPE DENIM ROTS IN HELL!!!!! AS YOU CAN SEE I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAD BAD EXPERIENCES THERE....READ ALL THE OTHER BAD REVIEWS...I HOPE EVERYONE TAKES ACTION AGAINst THESE PSYCH PATHS!!!

All or Nothing

I have been to Denim on several occasions. Some nights are great and others I am falling asleep on my feet. It is a great time or you leave and go elsewhere in an hour. The drinks are on the more expensive side, so I would recommend drinking elsewhere first. The decor is great, and it has recently been remodeled. The last time I went, (late October) was phenomenal

Great Saturday Night!!!

Had a great time last Saturday night!! There's a new hot VIP lounge in the front that looks over the dance floor. The music was great and the bartenders were fast and friendly. Going again next week to get the bottle service for a birthday, can't wait!!!

Denim is the place to be!

I had a great time last saturday night. The music was great, the bartenders and waitstaff are extremely hot and the service is top notch. Get there early because it does get crowded after midnight.

HOTTEST NIGHTCLUB IN PHILLY!!!!

As soon as you show up to the front door, you know this is different from any other nightclub. Handsome bouncers greet you with a smile and "IDs please". After riding in the denim covered elevator to the main floor, you immediately walk out onto the dance floor, which may be a little small, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for with the energy of the people out there. 4 bars through out the club, all loaded with top-shelf liquors, beer, and "generous" bartenders... who aren't to hard on the eyes, either. If you do have the extra cash to spend they also have the option of table service. 6 different color themed areas of the club have exclusive seating for you and your party to enjoy bottles of liquor or champagne brought to you by gorgeous girls. As soon as your sat, you're greeted by the sever, brought a bucket of ice, fruit, straws, and any type of mixer you would like... it can be pricey, but it's worth EVERY PENNY!!!!!

All in all, a great club!!! Every weekend brings a different party, which means different people, different music, different EVERYTHING!!! EVERY week!! I will definitely be going back and will, for sure, recommend this place to everyone!!

Beautiful Club, Phoney people.

the club is a beautiful work of art, very well designed; put together. I gave this club a rating of 2 because people in the club are phoney. People whom are in this club think they are high class, just because they are in the club. It makes me laugh. If you are of high net worth, try to avoid this club, due to the phoneys. it will truly ruin your experience of a great place. Bottle girl was pretty hott, just a little padded around the waist, thighs. overall, club is an a+++ for design and style, but a f- for exclusivity.

Definitly Worth a Few Extra Bucks

If you have a few extra dollars to spend I would definitly recommend using the bottle service. Staff will respond to your needs in a quick and friendly manner. VIP sections are located in high traffic areas so you will get the exclusive feel, without being isolated.

I could go on and on, but I'll just say that my friends from Manhattan love this place.

Worst. Club. Ever.

worst. club. ever.

Let's begin with the bar staff: I went to the middle bar with my credit card in hand and waited 5 minutes for the female bartenders, only to have a guy next to me step up and get served immediately. Once called the female bartender for a drink, I got total attitude. I walked to the end of the bar to the guy bartender and got served immediately, only to have the previous bartender who wouldn't serve me a drink, come and make a comment about me to the guy bartender. I waived my drink away and went to yet another bartender.

Music: Techno and remix, neither very consistant.

Cover: $10 (before 2?) $20 (after hours) for said service

Crowd: packed. pretentious. Do not go if you want to hang out and talk. This is a dancing club.

If you want to hae fun this is not the place to be. First of all VIP services are below poor because they forget VIP reservations and than have to kick out people out f seating area to make room for other people. Secondly the Valet service takes up the whole street and take forever to get the service. The whole Walnut street was backed up because of this one crappy lounge, if you can even call it a lounge. The bouncers have nothing to do but harrass guests. Then, to top it off if you are a minority watch out, you'll gonna be unhappy with the place. They will try to get you out of the place for any stupid reason. If you take up too much room while dancing they'll kick you out. Their drinks are watered down and overpriced. Their services are below poor and the workers discriminate against minorities. My whole crew was removed from an area becuase they wanted to expand a caucasian crowd that obviously did not make any reservations because we've been sitting in that booth for the first 3 hours that those same guests were there. Their excuse was that they had forgotten that the other party had made reservations. The area was not even in the VIP area or were there signs of any kind that it was reserved. On top of that, other nearby areas were quiet open for the taking as well. But because we were the minority they targeted us. I hope this plae closes down. They have no right to be running a business like this. I'm gonna report this to the business burea as well.
