GOOD TIMES
by tolouvmr
I'm in there a couple of times a month for happy hour and it works great for me. All there beer is on special, including the good stuff. Great for the games but sometimes it can be a bit too crowded during the really good games. I LOVE THE JUKE BOX!
- Pros: Good beer, good tv's, good music.
Great place to hang out
by lak180
This is one of my favorite places to go with friends to hang out, drink good beer, watch sports and shoot some pool. The service is great, and the atmosphere is cool and unpretentious. An added bonus is the lounge upstairs. Definitely recommend this bar it if you're not into waiting in lines and just want a good place to hang out with good friends.
Best Choice for Games

Great place to watch sporting events in Old City. Enough TVs that there's really not a bad seat in the house.
Not just pool tables either, plenty of games to choose from if you're looking to have a good time.
- Pros: Attentive Service
- Cons: What are the drawbacks?
great place to hang out

Buffalo Billiards is a great place to hang out with friends, relax after a long day or watch your favorite game with a beer in hand! The pool tables are always available and are in great condition. The bartenders and waitstaff are wonderful -- always very friendly and provide quick service. I rented the upstairs lounge for my husband's 30th birthday and everyone had a wonderful time. The general manager was very kind and accommodating to each and every request I had to help make the party a great success. I definitely recommend Buffalo Billiards!
This is one of the best bars in Philly!

Buffalo has it all, great service, excellent beer on draft, great $3 happy hour with 1/2 price apps, golden t, big buck hunter, foodball, darts, shuffle puck, you could never get bored! It has always been a very clean, fun enviornment every time I go! Best kept secret is the upstairs lounge on Friday & Saturday nights that opens @ 8pm
BE WARNED
by phillynicetime
Too bad about this place because the pool tables are nice. But it is cramped and there were DEAD things on the floor (this review won't let me say the word, just think of Disney World and Mickey M----) There were also live ones that were dying- need I say more? If they cleaned the place up or got new ownership I'd go back. Consider yourself warned!!
A decent place to chill, shoot some stick and eat greasy bar food in Old City.

In Short
Filled with pool tables, dartboards and TVs for sports viewing, it's more than just your typical billiards hall. A Southwestern theme seems to touch almost everything, from the seat cushions to wall-mounted animal heads to the buffalo burgers on the menu. There's a more sophisticated lounge upstairs. It's where you can leave your leather and tight T-shirts at home and just enjoy some good old-fashioned competitive gaming. Best of all, you hardly have to wait to show off your skills with so many shiny new tables around.
Crappiest pool hall ever
by wallaceplipschitz
The owners of this dump did an extremely poor job laying it out. Almost all of the pool tables have a corner obstructed by huge support beams. Why would you open a pool hall where the majority of the tables require use of a "shorty" stick? Lame, lame, lame.
- Pros: Nice Brunswick tables
- Cons: You can't play properly on the farking nice Brunswick tables
A good place

I go to Buffalo Billiards often. I love the happy hour - $3.00 well drinks and half off appetizers. The bartenders are extremely friendly and the service is good 99% of the time. It doesn't get super crowded and its just a fun place to be.
- Pros: good happy hour
