I've been to McFadden's a couple times and it was a pretty standard bar with a cool and friendly crowd, but this past weekend was well above par! We were a 15 person bachelorette party and set-up before hand to come. When we got there, they let us in for free even with the Summerfest Party going on - saving us each $15 - AND they gave us each free drink tickets. It was easy to get drinks at the bar throughout the night -except when one random female bartender decided that lip synching on the bar was much more important than actually serving drinks. The only other complaint is that the music was extremely loud - louder than I've ever experienced and I've been to my share of loud parties, concerts, bars, ect. Shouting at my max volume was still not loud enough to even tell the hot guy next to me my name. The entire group couldn't sleep all night because our ears were ringing so bad. But really - it was super fun and the bachelorette was very happy with our choice of venues! Thanks McFadden's!

Purchased tix to the NYE party only to wait in line for 45 minutes in the cold. When we finally got inside, we were less than impressed with the lukewarm food and terrible DJ, who didn't play anything created after 1989. The only redeeming quality was the fun-loving crowd. I will never buy NYE tix there again.
Pros: Nice young professional crowd

I was looking to watch a football game on ESPN Thursday night. I tried Finnigan's wake, but every TV was tuned to baseball. McFadden's had more TVs and multiple channels. The $5 cover charge entitlted me to $2 mixed drinks. The 2nd bar in the other room, had multiple bartenders and I was served promptly.
Pros: Many TVs with different channels
Cons: Value depends on the day of the week

I go to McFaddens every Friday night for Happy Hour. You can't bet it! It's a great place. And great people..Always a great time!

Everytime I am here there are atleast 5 eagles. New years, I went and was rubbing elbows with AJ Feely, some guy Whitey, and John Leclair. Fun and always hot people

We just had a private party at McFadden's, and it could not have been better! They did everything they could to help us out and to ensure that we had a good time. The service, the food, the drinks... everything was amazing. If we had to do it again, I would not hesitate to book McFadden's again and I would recommend it to anyone that asks.

This place is always too crowded. You can't do anything. It is impossible to get a drink, to hear anyone, or to dance.

I read some of the other reviews regarding the food service at McFadden's, so I was a little wary when we went there for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised when the service was speedy and the food was GREAT! We also ordered the $35 appetizer and it fed 6 people very well. So I guess McFadden's revamped since the bad reviews. After dinner, it was a great place to hang out!

McFadden's is a great place - blows Finnegan's Wake out of the neighborhood.
