I've been reading a few of there reviews and I really have to jump to save Jaipur! I've been going to this restaurant for about 2 two years now and I had to take the time to write this review. I actually talked the owner about the reviews on this site and he was very open to talk about it. He said that his buffet for lunch had been an issue with trying to price it and with some people literally taking 4 -5 plates of food. As a result of those few cheap people, he was losing alot of money. Apparently, for a while the staff got out of hand with making rules to stop these few people but that's not the case anymore. I pasted my yahoo review below. I urge you to go check out other review sites and you'll see more positive reviews. Service: The host/owner is a saint of a man. It's not uncommon for him to give his customers free desert or some other treat. He and his sons that help out there take alot of care into making sure the customer is happy. I don't think I've ever had to wait either. I do try to make reservations now and again on the weekend. It's very cute how they make cards with the name of the reservation and put it on the table "Reserved for Mr. McCumber". That's a very nice touch. Food: Awesome. I've traveled to at least 15 cities in the US and ate Indian. This is in the top two and maybe number 1. I try to stick to the Chicken TIkka, Tikka Masala (the curry version), and anything they do on their tandoor oven. It's so unlike any other food! Spicy, mild - I like both and they always cater as long as you tell them. Atmosphere - it's not over the top, but it's also not a bare place. indian tapestries line the walls, soft authentic music plays in the background, and the place never has the busy hub-bub feel that some places have. I really have to recommend this place big time.
Pros: Best Chicken Tikka Masala in the City, Wonderful Host
Cons: A few dishes are not up to par with the others,
