great hotel. I got my rooms on priceline for $55 a night. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. The noise level is somewhat high if you are by the street because you're right in the thick of things. Location is great because you are right near chinatown, the chinatown buses, and reading terminal market.

affordable. friendly. convenient.. My boyfriend and I stayed here before-so were pleased when priceline landed us back at this super convenient, centrally located Philly hotel. Though we already had a great deal on the rooms-the hotel staff was super friendly and graced us with an upgrade to a suite and complimentary breakfast. Danielle-at the front desk-was very sweet and welcoming. The pool and hot tub were big plus for the blistery weekend-which kept us perfectly happy indoors-relaxing at the Hilton. Can't wait to be back.

Comfort and cleanliness in a downtown location next to the Philadelphia Convention Center.. The Scene
After a long day spent at the Convention Center, business travelers find the hotel lounge a great spot to meet up with fellow execs to have a drink and unwind--a prime location on the top floor overlooks downtown Philadelphia. Down below, convenience reigns, with the ground-floor Pavilion Pantry, perfect for stocking the kitchenettes found in both standard rooms and suites.

The Details
This property isn't all work and no play, though. Leisure travelers appreciate the pool, fitness center and whirlpool, as well as easy access to local attractions and the shops and restaurants of the Gallery Mall, which can be entered directly from the hotel. All accommodations offer classic, comfortable furnishings and large work spaces to lure conventioneers. For those guests needing to get a stain out before the next meeting, a coin-operated laundry is available.

My picky husband was impressed. I tend to only review the places that leave a lasting impression on me (really good or really bad), but this was definitely a good one. It's right in the middle of everything (it shares a block with Reading Terminal Market and Independence Brew Pub). This was also the first place I've visited in town where a microwave and refrigerator were included in the room...that alone elevated my approval rating several points. I will definitely be back.
