The club is what you make it, the trance night was alright. Although not too crowded, my boyfriend had his coat stolen there!!

Two dollar tuesdays are nice. The music selection is decent and the atomosphere is alright if you are trying to find someone to chill with. There are two rooms. The upstairs is usually a mix of dirty south meets the northeast and the downstairs has another bar with decent reggae music.
Pros: cheap drinks on tuesday
Cons: not enough room for breathing space

From Chicago, anyone been to Transit Nte Club out here. Great Music, Great Atmosphere. If your looking for a place that doesnot discriminat this is the place to be, this is the place to party at. on Friday nite, Salsa nite. Hotter than ever. Music always pumpin' in all 3 rooms. Saturday nite, wall to wall. This is definitely one of the hottest spots in Chicago. you can't miss it. If your in town you need to make this your first weekend party Spot.....
Pros: The music makes it all the while
Cons: Long line for the bathroom!!!!!!!!! :-(

I've only been here during their 'Making Time' parties, so base my opinion off that. Absolutely crazy throw-downs, where there's nothing but feel-good, possibly drugged up dancing crowds of people. If you can stand being sandwhiched between fashionistas, and like to dance to all sorts of music (with plenty of floors to choose from) I highly recommend. The venue itself feels like a decaying palace. Drinks can be really pricey and it's a fight to the bar when you want one at it's peak, so either make it for the early open bar (which ends earlier then advertised normally) or have a hearty pre-game.
Pros: Great Dance Spot, Great Atmosphere
Cons: Pricey Drinks, Crowd Impedes Getting Pricey Drinks (Expect a Wait for Bar)

Too pricy even for someone with a lot of deposable income such as myself.
Cons: Price, Price, Price

Was there 12/15. Great place with lots of rooms to get lost in. Music was decent, not enough to get the mood going though. Place was surprisingly empty at 2am, even though people keep saying it gets packed in there. If this place was in Jersey, it would be mobbed! Very diverse crowd...age and style. Drinks way overpriced, it's not NYC. Staff was extremely courteous, especially guys at the door. Would go back though...
Pros: huge, variety in music, friendly staff
Cons: expensive, ok house music, small crowd

Transit is definitely a unique club in one of the most up and coming nightlife districts in Philadelphia. They are bringing in grammy winning Deep Dish on Thanksgiving Eve, November 27th, 2002 and it open TIL 8AM!

I go to Transit on Thursday's and it is hot. The crowd is live and the music is good. There are a couple of floors, so you can move around and get a different vibe. The door charges are decent (for a club), but the drinks are expesive (whichj is usual). And for those who don't know, it's mostly an African American crowd on Thursday's.
Pros: music, vibe, crowd
Cons: drink prices

After two years Transit still seems to be going strong, especially on Saturdays. The crowd is very diverse but they all seem to be very into the music. I like being able to go to one of the three different floors and feel like I'm going to a totally different club with different music and crowd. Although there wasn't on site parking I found a spot less than a block away around the corner. The staff although seemingly very intimidating was very friendly and helpful. Two thumbs up.
Pros: multi-level, five bars, great music
Cons: no onsite parking, expensive drinks
