Rude, Trashy, Definitely better places to party

Definitely don't go if you're Indian and if you wear a Turban you better have lots of patience. Stupid rules and stupider people working there. You would expect some sort of class from an individual working at a Club since they see so many people on a continuous basis but all you get is a bunch of Rude black guys, with their do rags and backwards baseball caps giving you attitude when none is needed.

I realize these guys are in the pinnacle of their employment and take their jobs seriously... or they're just fed up being a loser and try to put down everyone else.

I'm thinking it's the latter... so if you can then avoid this place, its dark, smelly, and not that great of an atmosphere. But if you're 18 then its one of the flew 18 and over clubs and you probably have no choice.

I'd take G Lounge on 17th and Sansom over this place in a heart beat...

• Pros: Well Parking! cause it's in a not so great part of town
• Cons: The bouncers are rude, arrogant, just plain not nice

Trendsters...READ HERE!!

Wednesday nights_NOCTURNE: Djs, are cool, from 9-11pm, u-call-it $3 drinks, good music but thats all to it. The people are rude, they stick together like a cult. Drama hill from here on out. If your looking to have a good time with your OWN friends, then this place is for you, other than that the drinks and music would be the only reason to go.

• Pros: Good music and lighting, drink specials
• Cons: people

Great to just dance- less than classy--trashhhyyy and def gettoo

Never take your NY friends there 4 sure...its getto and trashy....the bathroom is a disaster....if you are a female go with friends or BEWARE the guys will grab at you, touch you and there are always a couple really creepy old men there :o just staring.

Pros: multiple rooms with various music...you have choice. the Djs can be pretty good.

Cons: The bouncers grab your crotch (if youre male) and your chest (if youre female), might catch a disease because its packed and sweaty, i think its about $20 just to enter and if they are having a bad night u lost ur $$$, best time to come is about 11:30-12:00 but closes at 2am...so kinda expensive. Hard to find parking and someone might break into your car (happened to me). Bad neighborhood. O and sometimes the waiting line is ridiculous.

If you wanna get down and dirrtyyy and dance crazy!! then gooo!!

Bouncer 'Stone Cold"" is a COMPLETE piece of sh*t !!

Good place. The big fat white bald bouncer named 'Stone Cold' should of been aborted, but hasnt - his mother should be shot for having that trailer park trash. Rude as all hell, everytime I run into him. Management will NOT confront your problems

Great place for large group of friends

I was happy to find a spot where you don't have to be 21 to get in but there was a high price to pay! There was a convenient coat check and plenty of dance room. I thought the dj was great but was turned off by the massive amount of guys standing around. Get off your a** and dance, you didn't pay $20 to stand for three hours. Besides that I though the mix of old and young to be pretty cool and would definitely go back, but with a lot more people!

• Cons: Too many people trying to profile instead of having fun

For guys,

if you are 35-40, and still look like your 21-25, and want to get lap dances from girls 17-21 all night, this is the place to be. Just make sure you don't see your son or daughter in here. hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!

Great club

Shampoo is one of those places that just feels like something out of a movie. The area around shampoo is a bit sketchy looking but seems ok. good amount of parking available. When you first get in you are welcomed by a small ante room that has a coat check and ticket info. Make your way back through the small sitting area and you see two bars. Lots of ambience here. Many small alcoves to hang out in draped in either velvet or surrounded in stone. On the first level there is also a small dance floor with funky lighting but still very dark. Alright so at this point I think good size little club...but upstairs it opens up into this much larger space with another larger dancefloor , two bars,and a stage area for live music. The restrooms are also on this level. Soundsystems here I think are great and geared more toward dance music. It also is a bit loud so you will be yelling your drink orders sometimes when the jams are pumping. Make sure to check their schedule Shampoo plays host to a variety of different partys depending on the night of the week. The place is very trendy and many interesting looking people seem to flock here. Bartenders here are fast, security is excellent, price is average but venue is truly above average.

• Cons: loud,crowded, trendy

what a nightmare place! I do not recommend it to anyone. the entrance is $1o but the drinks are horrible, the service is deplorable and the management simply does not care for any problems you have.
