BEWARE! Especially the Bensalem Location!!!!. I WISH YOU COULD RATE THEM A ZERO BECAUSE THEY DO NOT DESERVE EVEN ONE STAR!!!!!

PLEASE do yourself a favor and DO NOT use Country Bride. Your engagement and wedding are supposed to be one of the happiest times in your life and they will make every step painful and upsetting! As some of the reviews claim, some of the women that work there are nice, but that is just not enough especially when every decision, or promise must be discussed with the manager, Sue, and she is just horrid! They are so unprofessional and outright rude! They claim on their website that "We realize this is one of the most important days in your life and want to make your experience here a pleasant one." which couldn't be farther from the truth! My sister and I are both brides getting married in the same year and we both have experienced problems with Country Bride on different occasions. It has been a complete nightmare and I hope that this review will prevent other girls from experiencing the heartache that we have experienced this past year. I beg you, PLEASE DO YOURSELF A HUGGGEEEE FAVOR and avoid Country Bride at all costs!

WORST PLACE EVER. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I went for my sister's wedding, they are rude, stupid and plain mean. From every step of the way we were all appalled. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE- DO NOT EVEN STEP FOOT INSIDE.

Prom Dress. THEY TOTALLY SUCK!! I went there for my prom dress and when i found it they wrote down the dress number in their book and promised that nobody else would have my dress. i got to my prom and another girl had it and got it from country bride after i got it. SERIOUSLY DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! their word to not sell the same dress to another person is just a lie.

TERRIBLE PLACE DO NOT VISIT!!!!!!. We tried on a dress here for a wedding, and the woman who helped us made us feel like we were wasting her time. Nevertheless I chose a dress and put the $100 for it to be ordered. That night we were thinking over how unfortunate our experience had been, and decided not to get the dress at this store. When we called the next morning (within 24 hours of ordering!) Trish, the owner, refused to cancel the order and refund us anything. We didn't give the reasons for canceling the dress, just that we had decided on something else. She spoke to us as if we were scum.

All interactions with staff here were unpleasant. What a horrible store!

Bensalem location review. My first visit to Country Bride was good. The woman who helped me was nice enough. I liked how they arranged the gowns by price because if you don't look out of your range you won't know those gowns exist and be tempted!

My second visit I called in the morning of explaining that I knew it was last minute but if there were any appointments left I would love to come in again just to try on three dresses for my mom and moh. They fit me in easily enough but when I arrived the one woman kept complaining that other people had appointments and that this wasn't fair to them. She said I was squeezed in and I shouldn't have been and she really needed to go help other people. First of all, if they didn't have availability they should have said so and I would have requested another day, secondly this woman literally told me FOUR times how unfair it was that I had an appointment before she shuffled me off to someone else who kept pressuring me to order a gown right away. SO, I went somewhere else where I paid MORE money for my gown but the staff actually treated me like they wanted my business!

Wonderful people!. These people have helped me and my brothers through proms and now my wedding. They are there to help even at the last moment. They have gotten me a tux in an emergency in under 30 minutes and when I went in without an appointment the wonderful girls let me still try on dresses in the last 20 minutes! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

POOR EXPERIENCE. I had 6 bridesmaids, a maid of honor, 2 junior bridesmaids, and a flower girl in my bridal party. That's 9 dresses, plus my mother and future mother in law, and my own dress. 12 dresses total, which is A LOT of business. I wanted everyone to be able to try on a dress so I coordinated a day when everyone could go, called and made an appointment. I told them how many people I was bringing. We got there and were totally rushed through the appt. They told me I shouldn't have brought that many. Excuse me? This is business for you, and half the girls were single and therefore potential future customers. And not only that but I called to complain about being rushed and they said well you should have booked 2 appts together. Why didn't you tell me that on the phone when I told you how many people I was bringing? So we were rushed into making a decision, and not given very much attention while we were there to boot.

This review is about the Bensalem Location of this store! Horrible Experience!!. A few months ago I went to the Bensalem location of Country Bride & Gent to look for my bridal gown & had a pretty good experience. My consultant was nice & helpful and handled all of my needs and requests well. I ended up getting my gown at another store, but since I had a fairly good experience I decided to head back there with my bridesmiads to look for bridesmiad dresses....what a huge difference from the first time I was there.....Immediately, the girl at the front desk was extremely rude & unhelpful! She had a very bad attitude...and even made a comment about how the store receives their dresses 6 months after all the other stores around (this was after I asked for a specific 2008 dress from a designer)! Completely unprofessional!! She then told us we could go back and look through the dresses and that was the end of any help or service we received from any of the employees!! Not one person asked us if we needed help or were doing ok. I had to search out someone to set us up in a dressing room and the person seemed like this was a chore rather than her job. Even when we were done & I myself had to write down the designer and style number and stated very loudly for all employees to hear that I would be looking for these specific dresses at another store.....and even after my bridesmaids made comments about the poor service....WE STILL DID NOT RECEIVE ANY HELP OR SERVICE!!! I absolutely could not wait to get out of that store and I know my maids felt the same! I would not recommend this store to anyone!!! Steer clear of shops that do not provide good customer service!!!!

Country Bride and Gent. I have to say that I absolutely love the service I have been given here. Colette is my consultant and she has been wonderful. I fell in love with the first dress I put on but it was out of my price range. She brought out another dress for me similar to the one I had one, but alot less money. At first glance, through the plastic bag, I didn't like the second dress, but the second I put it on, there was no need to look at anything else. Colette knew exactly what would look good on me. She has a real "eye" for it. My entire experience has been so positive and would recommend this place to anyone. Very reasonably price, amazing seamstresses, and excellent customer service. 24 days till my big day and I couldn't be any happier.

I love Laura!. Okay, so the only reason I am signed up for this, is so that I can write a response to whomever has complained about customer service. There isn't any bridal shoppe that is going to give you information or let you take pictures of a dress...they don't want you to shop them. Country Bride and Gent was the first place I went...and It actually was out of our price range, so I went to look else where. I just kept coming back, they were so sweet to me...especially Laura...my consultant. My dress was $1300 dollars and they discounted it to $800 for me! Laura and all the ladies have always been extremely helpful every time I have called and sometimes I have just stopped in, they are very busy and still they take care of me! They are always trying to work with my schedule...I highly recommend the country bride and gent...it has been a wonderful experience and I am so excited for my big day!
