Worst place I've been to in a VERY long time...horrible service, waiter/chef - whatever he was, since he did not introduce himself - was sloppy and completely disinterested in us...food was undercooked (mine) and overcooked (my friend's) - we told him about it and he had nothing to say except bring us the check. Will never go back. We should have known something was up since we were the only people in the place....duh!
Nice atmosphere,ok food.... Excellent service, nice wait staff, nice atmosphere but the food was not what i expected form some one who has authentic recipes handed down thru the generations...
Superb Dinner. My wife and I had an outstanding dining experience. The food was excellent and watching the owner John Bruno work rhe kitchen and the dining room by himself was amazing. He never missed a beat at either end. Try this restaurant, bring a bottle of wine, enjoy a leisurely evening over great food and ambiance. We'll be back often.
This place is wonderful!. Look for some additional parking in the back of the rest. The main course was delicious. The dessert selection was truly outstanding. Service was just fine. I will be back regularly.
Great liitle place. Had a fantastic meal. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was superb. The small restaurant offered an array of daily specials to go along with the staples you would find at any good Italian restaurant. The waitress was fantastic and not too hands on, leaving us to our meal and letting us enjoy the evening. Did not have a chance to go into the market next door, but will be back to check that out as well. I will definitely be back to try a new dish on the menu.
BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. i don't know what the previous poster, anathecook or whatever the name is, was smoking, but this is one of the best italian restaurants in montgomery county. dishes are homemade, often from century old recipes passed down through generations. others are flown in from italy. atmosphere is comfortable. most of the employees are either family or have worked their so long they may as well be. i have brought hundreds of people from around the world to eat here, and i've yet to hear a negative word. the adjacent italian store has hard to find products straight from italy. only better selection is on ninth st. in philly. highly recommended.
Worst italian food - serves warmed frozen food..
This has to be the worst tialian restaurant ever. this restaurant is attached to a italian grocery store and has a "hole in the wall" type of kitchen. The restaurant looks classy but looks can be very decieving - the food is plain bad. We ordered eggplant parm and raveioli. They were both equally bad - the eggplans t felt like it was prepared from a frozen "costco" package and the ravioli was hard and chewy !!!
Stay away from this place..
