I generally don't like Chinese restaurants, but Abacus is an exception. Their food is very good, tastes very fresh, and they offer a lot of healthy options in addition to the traditional Chinese favorites. They offer nightly seafood specials, which are always extremely fresh. The interior is decorated very well and the staff wears tuxedos, which gives the restaurant a more upscale vibe. The service is also very good. Abacus is the only place I go for Chinese food.

Abacus has excellent food and presentation. It is also great for people who are looking for healthier choices. They offer menu items that are steamed and served with brown rice and without sauce. The interior of the restaurant is nice and the service is great.

This restaurant is way better than what you get in a strip mall. Not that the strip mall should be a standard for comparison! The dishes look nice but somehow lack authentic Chinese flavor. I traveled in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan and got accustomed to GREAT Chinese food and this tastes like it's been dumbed down for American tastes, the garlic sauce in particular. There are a lot of processed vegetables from cans such as the baby corn, the mushrooms, etc. On the plus side, the hot-and-sour soup is excellent and the spring rolls too. Lunch portions are small but the dinner portions are adequete. The staff are very friendly and kind. It gets crowded on weekends but the take-out service is pretty fast.
