Great Local Find!. Always have a great time at the Whitemarsh no matter which night I have gone. Weekends are busy, great entertainers, party atmosphere! Music on other nights of the week is equally as wonderful, in a more intimate setting. Wait staff is friendly and attentive, never had a bad meal! Prime Rib, Crab Cakes and Ribs are especially scrumptious.

GREAT entertainment!. Stopped in on a Thursday night! The singer there was unbelievably wonderful! Charming guy with a voice to die for. Food was terrific! Bartender wasn't especially friendly, but minor distraction for the good food and the wonderful music!

Pros and Cons. I think the food is pretty good at Whitemarsh Valley Inn, but it's priced to be. The burgers are excellent but I found their spaghetti and meatballs to be overwhelmed by garlic. Seafood dishes are excellent, especially the crab imperial. The waitstaff is efficient and business-like (not particularly welcoming). Sadly, the place smells badly of cigarettes, even in the remote non-smoking area.
