Worst Food I have ever had. It was a Friday night at 8:30 and the restaurant was dead. They served me broken pasta that looked like it was stuck to the bottom of the pan. The food was bland and very over priced (27 dollars for one chewy scallop and two over cooked shrimp). Even the crab cakes, that the waiter highly recommended, were lacking something and the rice tasted like it came out of a box. If you are looking for a nice quality meal, then I would recommend staying clear of Totaro's Restaurant.
A hard to find but very Friendly restaurant. , excellent food, noisey on week ends, service good, best to make reservations on week ends. we have traveled from l. NJ 3 times now just to eat at this well seasoned restaurant.. braised short ribs were to die for.. great family recipe Italian dishes. Everything is good and cocktail glasses filled to the top. Priced nicely
Succulent fresh flavors served by friendly, professional staff.
Polite and friendly staff and the food was even better than the service. Everything was EXTREMELY fresh and tasty. I did not want this meal to end... This place is worth going out of your way for...
Our Buffalino salad had the freshest buffalo mozzarella with subtle dressing. The Monsignor pasta had tender shrimp, scallops, crab meat, shitake mushrooms and diced tomatoes in garlic olive oil sauce over tomato basil linguine. It was so tender and succulent!
My colleague had the shrimp and lobster filled raviolis served in creamy marinara sauce, and she was also quite pleased with her selection.
I strongly recommend going out of your way to enjoy this fine gem in Conshohocken!
don't miss it -- great italian food. A friend took me by this diamond in the rough restauarant last night. I was definitely skeptical due to its location, but soon felt and home in this family-run business. The owner and staff were very nice and accomodating and even talked with us about the history of the restaurant (now in the hands of the son of the original owner). You can find something on the menu for everyone, and the food is simply prepared but they are willing to accomodate all kinds of special requests. I had the Capellini with artichoke hearts and marinara sauce, which was delicious. Definitely try this gem in the middle of conshy whether you are from the Main Line, Plymouth Meeting or Chesnut Hill area. It's well worth it.
GONE DOWNHILL!!. EVER SINCE FEB 2005 WHEN THEY LAID OFF THEIR FEMALE CHEF, THE FOOD HAS REALLY TAKEN A NOSE DIVE. THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE EVER LET THEIR TOP GIRL GO. THAT MANAGER & OWNER MUST BE A BUNCH OF IDIOTS!!!
