My five bridesmaids, mother and I were out looking for gowns this past weekend. I had a list of places I wanted to try, and La Bella Moda was on it. When we came in (at about 2:30 pm) and told the woman at the front desk why we were there, she seemed very annoyed. She said that there were already two brides upstairs and there was no one to help us. She proceeded to say that the manager (owner?) was at a wedding and gave them permission to close early when those two brides were finished. She then added that we could make an appointment to come back another day. We couldn't believe it! We had been to at least 3 other stores before then and they were extremely friendly and accommodating. She turned down 7 potential dress sales b/c she wanted to be able to close early. Well, I am happy to say that we ended up giving our business to Belle of the Ball Bridal in Eagleville. I will never set foot in La Bella again.

I have to say the only reason I gave the dress shop three stars is because I found my dress there and I absolutely love it!! Also when you are looking and trying on dresses they are very super sweet to you because they want your business. So at least that part was an excellent experience. Also, the alterations lady Gemma was very sweet and she made my experience a lot better at La bella Moda. As for the second I bought my dress and decided that is the one I want. The service is horrible and the ALL the people are rude. I called them on it a few times they apologized but then made me feel the same way anytime I called. I know I'm not a crazy detailed person and I'm very easy going. So for them to make me feel like I am bothering them anytime I called was just out of line. Also every sales associate tells you a different price. I have six girls in my wedding and all six got a different price for their dress. Needless to say they matched the lowest one which was pretty cool. They are very very rude to the bridesmaids and even with an appointment made all my girls feel like they were being pains by just being there. I haven't had one good review from any of my girls. The only reason I wanted to get the girls dress there was because of the 20% discount they got for me buying my dress there. I would reccommend if they girls don't mind and your dress isn't too expensive to go somewhere else. If you see soemthing you like there wait before you buy it because many local boutiques have the same designers you just have to call around. This is your speical day it kinda ruins it when the dress shop is rude and you girls are calling you upset that they are so rude...one little thing on top of the many you can make easier for yourself.
Pros: good dress shopping experience
Cons: the ladies are all rude and miserable
