Big Steaks and Hoagies. Giant steaks and hoagies; great value. Sandwaiches are not always the same size, consistency or taste--need to get a handle on this.

Before they moved to their new location I never had a problem. I guess being the best sandwich shop in the area has gone to the owner's head.

A must try, if only for the size of the sandwiches.

I am sorry you had a bad experience. I assure you not a thing has changed since we moved. One thing we pride ourselves on is consistencey. The one thing we cannot control is the size of the roll. It is suppose to be 12" and wide enough to hold 12-14 oz. of steak. This isn't always the case. Every other ingredient and recipe is the same as always.

Great cheesesteak. I stopped by with my grandson to treat him to a Philly cheesesteak. My grandson was never in Philly before, but the staff were extremely patient and helpful. The sandwich was delicious and HUGE. I don't see how the taste could be beat any other place. Only issue? I wish they would get a larger place, but I will return.

A WONDERFUL DINING ESTABLISHMENT WITH WONDERFUL EMPLOYEES. PUDGE'S IS A GREAT PLACE TO EAT AT ANYTIME ON ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. I LOVE THEIR EMPLOYEES, I FIND THAT OF ALL THE PLACES I GO, PUDGE'S HAS THE BEST CHEESESTEAKS.. ITS A SHAME THAT OTHER CUSTOMERS DON'T FEEL THE SAME WAY. ITS EVEN WORSE THAT A GROWN MAN WOULD WASTE HIS TIME POSTING RUDE COMMENTS ABOUT PEOPLE HE DOESN'T EVEN PERSONALLY KNOW. I BET THAT GUY COULDN'T LAST A MINUTE WORKING AT PUDGES.. I BET HIS LAZY BUM HASNT DONE ANY HARD LABOR A DAY IN HIS LIFE. SO FOLKS, GET OFF YOUR COMPUTER AND GO FOR A RUN!!!!!!!!!

Rude young kids are ruining this place!. The young girl who waitresses and a young guy who cooks have been lazy and rude on too many occasions, so I can't go to what used to be a weekly visit for me. I never minded how dirty and crowded Pudge's was because the food was good, but the young kids have been rude enough that I know go to Lee's in Norristown or Pudge's 2. Pudge's 1 has too much attitude these days, and its a shame!

Cheesesteak,Cheesesteak,Cheesesteak. I dont know too many people that have been eating at Pudges as long as me. I used to live in Plymouth Valley. I was about 10 years old and I used to walk to a little Pizzeria right down the street called Pudges Pizza and even at that young age I liked their sandwiches best. I am somewhat older now Pudges has moved to Blue Bell and stopped making pizza but continues to make the absolute best cheessteak known to man. Dont forget to take home one of the greatest Italian Hoagies in existance.

The Best Cheesesteak anywhere. I have been going to Pudge's since I was little. My mom has worked their almost my whole life! I have never been able to find a cheesesteak that even comes close to this one! The person that said their rolls are 2 different sizes is crazy. The large is 18 inches the small is 12 inches! So unless you are ordering 2 different things you get what you pay for. So come in and try them out. You will not be disapointed! Tommy the cook makes the best cheesesteak ever!!!!! And the Hoagies are pretty darn good too:)

Glad your here. I lived in Blue bell for years and missed the steaks at Pudges since I moved to Elkins Park. I just found out that they just opened a store around the corner from me. If they are any bit as good as the original I will be there often.

Great Cheesesteak if you dine in!. Pudge's makes one of the best cheesesteaks in the area, bar none. However, there are a few caveats! Do not take out. For some reason, the size of the takeout cheese steak is half the size if you dine in. Dining in has its drawbacks as Pudge's is real hole; tables are old and crowded together, chairs are not the most comfortable. It's a real shame they don't update their restaurant or just move to a larger facility.

PERFECTION IN A ROLL. I grea up right accross the street from Pudges' and now living in lancaster county, my family and I STILL make a point to get a steak from Pudge's. Besides the amazing fact that they LOAD the steaks, they actually melt the cheese into the meat, making a perfect balance of meat and cheese melted together. I drool every time I think of their steaks. They use fresh, quality ingredients, so you won't find any unwanted surprises in your lunch. -and a trick to reheat your pudge, take it apart, reheat the meat and toast the roll-

was that meat?. I had my first cheesesteak from "Pudge" the other day. Heck of a drive from Philly (so much cars). I was curious all day that i was eating it. It was HUGE, but what kind of beef was that? It was stringy and tuff. It was just average. Im not sure if it was worth the trip to get a cheesesteak.
