awesome place!. after years of living in west chester, I finally tried crawdaddys.

I ordered an alligator cheese steak. It was absolutely amazing and full of flavor.

Service was great, never had to ask for drink refills.

Awesome Place, Highly Recommended.

Best Cajun Food in PA!!!. I've been to this restaurant three times over 2 years, and it's been consistently excellent. Atmosphere is cozy, service was friendly, even though they were busy every time I've been there (and I've only dined there on typically "non-busy" nights, like Mondays, Tuesdays, etc). The menu prices range from around $7 or $8 for their "Po-Boys", and head up into the teens to very low twenties for the etoufees and heartier stew type dishes. Exceptionally well priced menu for the quality, as well as the quantity of food- I've always left with over half my meal in a doggie bag which then is at least two more meals at home. When you go, you must try the "Cajun Popcorn", which is battered crawfish tails with a creole mustartd sauce- I always take an order of those home with me. Of course, the jambalaya and crawfish bisque are also must-have starters here. They do have standard fare as far as filet mignon and a variety of chicken dishes, but even those have a creole twist to them. Being near Philadelphia, Crawdaddys offers several cheesesteak options, even an alligator cheesesteak (which I've never been brave enough to sample). Bottom line, I cannot reccomend this restaurant enough! If you are looking for authentic, fabulous, and surprisingly inexpensive cajun cookin', look no further than Crawdaddy's!

Great Food, Very Poor Service. The food was very good, actually better than I expected. The service was some of the worst I have ever had. They were friendly, but the time it took for anything was ridiculous. It should not take 20 minutes to take your drink order and get 2 beers. They were out of their homemade bread and charged me for a roll. This was on a Thursday night; I could not even imagine what a Friday night would be like. I will never go back.

Good Food- Great Nawlins atmosphere. wow! gotta love a place that has the greatest food that smacks of new orleans but is in the middle of West Chester?!? everything is good - i have never had a bad meal here. The service is good and ever since they remodeled the restaurant the atmosphere is amazing -- try the back room with the fireplace :) be sure if you go on a friday you make a reservation or if you have a big group-- this is a popular place.

Tastes like N'awlins!. I had just returned from New Orleans and had eaten at a number of restaurants. I tried Crawdaddy's a couple of weeks later and found the food to be authentic! I also love the fact that they do not have a children's menu and state emphatically that parents will control their children. Also, they do accept credit and were applying for their liquor license. Excellent, excellent, excellent!
