First off, The Picket Fence is not closed. I was just there two days ago and the place looks as great as ever. The owner constanly changes the store's merchandise. The boutique is always crammed full of the latest gift ideas. However, it really shines at Christmas time. The Picket Fence is the BEST place to find hostess gifts but also gifts for the kids' teachers and bus drivers. Their prices range from super affordable to downright steep but you can always find something for anyone. The owner is great to work with. She'll hit your number on the head and she distictively gift wraps everything. Her jewelry selection is tasteful and her baby clothes are adorable. Anyone critical of this wonderful little store must have ulterior motives

an absolute tacky emporium that is a waste of time. cheesy merchanise better purchased at TJ Maxx for one third the price. would be good if you collected really bad cheesy santas or if you had an addiction to really bad smelling candles. Or if you liked really cheap looking jewelry. otherwise a lovely establishment...

Lovely little shop.
I love this store. The owner is wonderful and helpful, always there. The finds here are always good and pretty reasonably priced for Malvern. You can always find a gift here for any occasion or just a little something to brighten your home.
Definately worth a visit!
