i dont know about this place. when i went to this restaurant the service was slow and after my daughter and i went i had this massive stomach ache and my daughter was sick for about a week. I eat japanese food very often and i do not know what made me sick after going to this restaurant. I do not recommend it to anyone. it was not only the bad food there but the service was slow and seemed very angry at everything all the time. the environment was not all that great and i did not appreciate the look the waiter gave me after i left a 20% tip.

User review by docerty83. I live locally and eat here very often. The food is delicious, healthy, and relatively cheap. Every meal comes with a salad, fried or regular white rice and an AMAZING cup of soup. Also, its BYOB and there is a liquor store right across the street. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is not a chain like most hibachi restaurants. I always prefer these privately owned places because the atmosphere is more easygoing and serene. The owners are very sweet and accommodating. If there are no hibachi tables open and you have to wait, you may sit at the tables in the sushi bar section and begin your beverages and get a sushi appetizer if you please. I cant say enough good things about Yokohama. I would recommend making reservations for parties over 4.
