Food was cold, service was terrible.
I have been eating at this restaurant once a month or more since I moved into the neighborhood five years ago. I have ordered take out from it at least as often during the same period. It was once an excellent restaurant. Service has simply become terrible to a point where I will no longer eat here or order from this restaurant.
Arrived with my wife a bit before 8 on Monday night. It took about 25 minutes for our main course to arrive after we ordered. When the main course did arrive (without the side dish, which had apparently been forgotten) my wife's order was wrong (which the waitress acknowledged knowing when she brought it out). We were told there was another order coming right up. This order finally came "right up" over ten minutes later and was brought to the table along with the side dish. By now my own order, which was at best tepid when it came out to begin with, was cold. As I was unwilling to wait another ten to fifteen minutes for them to prepare another order (while my wife's order got cold or dried out under a heat lamp) I simply ate the side dish for dinner.
In short, despite a slow night, the waitress didn't care enough to make sure the order was correct, complete or hot before bringing it to the table to begin with and management didn't really seem to care at all. All of this was accompanied by a "so what" attitude by management. I won't be back and I'm certainly going to stop recommending this restaurant to others, something which I have done many times in the past.
Place has gone downhill....AVOID!!!. Been going here for 30+ years and it has recently gone downhill. Right after we were seated today, everyone in our family noticed that our eyes were burning. We were seated near the kitchen and the fans in the dining room were bringing the air out of the kitchen. When the waitress showed up, she noticed it also. She said they were cutting onions in the kitchen and then she disappeared after taking our order. Service was terrible. My wife never got her salad. Kids food was overdone and left under the heating light for too long since our waitress was MIA. We left right after the food was served as we could no longer take the burning fumes coming from the kitchen. I had to ask another waiter for some carry out boxes and the check. I mentioned to the manager about the fumes and the fact that we had to pack up and leave early. Got a half hearted apology and a blank stare. We paid and left. I will not be going back.
One of my favorite restaurants!. Rino's is great for families and those who appreciate a good Italian meal. I have never been disappointed with anything I have had here. The atmosphere may not be fancy, but the food is so good that you feel like you are eating at a 4 star restaurant. You have the option of ordering homemade pasta on some of the dishes and it is very good.
If you love food this is the place. If you love hot wings this is the place for you. There are none like them anyplace I have been. Their pasta dishes are excellent. portions are generous. Service is prompt. and if you go on the weekend you might get lucky and get one of their homemade cream pufs.
Best Little Italian Place. Besides the diverse menu, the good food, and neighborhood charm - Rino's is an all-around great choice for everyone. Great for couples, families, and groups of friends - the service is great and for the most part really friendly. Although I am not in the area anymore, whenever I come back to visit friends we always end up here.
Old Favourite. I don't live in West Chester anymore, but when I'm in the neighborhood I try to stop by Reno's for their buffalo chicken cheesesteak...it is the best! It's got a lot of great food for really good prices and the service is faster than any of those crapy chain restaurants.
