They were unorganized on the day of our event and failed to deliver on things in our contract. They do not send professional people to the event. They will sell and charge for every little detail, but disappoint to no end. We sent them a list of our complaints so they do not continue to disappoint other bride and grooms, copying the owners on the email. The GM promised a phone call to my father in September, it is now December and they never EVEN called. They simply do not care, do not trust these people with your big day, plenty of other caterers out there, these folks cannot deliver.
Frou Frou Crap!. My brother and sister-in-law were recently married at The Chestnut Club in Philadelphia, PA. They hired Feastivities for wedding catering services. Due to the nature of my work, I attend a number of high-end weddings in the NY Metro area quite often. I found that Feastivities offered some of the most bland, unspectacular frou frou Hors d'œuvres along with the most incredibly tasteless, DRY entree dishes out any caterer I've experienced. My husband and I were nearly starved since we did not eat lunch before attending the wedding but were relieved after having two slices of wedding cake! Take my advice: Select another catering company in Philadelphia unless you like frilly, frou frou crap!
My Wedding was Fabulous!.
I just want everyone to know John & I had a wonderful experience with Feastivities. We had our reception at Cairnwood and it was truely magical. Leila, our event planner took us step by step through the entire process, from the ceremony to the limo taking us away.
The food was incrediable, the service impeccable and the buffets were so beautiful.
It's too bad I can't put my photos with this review.
NOT RECOMENDED. Very disappointing! While Feastivities tries to impress, they fall far from the mark. At first glance their food display looks nice, unfortunately one can't help but notice the chipped china and stained linen. The focal point of the function was a display consisting of a large sheet of glass in desperate need of cleaning sitting on top of many rows of apples that obviously have seen better days (or perhaps use at other banquets). We were hoping the food would save the day, but again a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Almost everything we tasted was either undercooked, cold, or dry. Blandness seemed to prevail in all the dishes. When these concerns were addressed to the banquet manager, he seemed as embarrassed as the host was. We can't help but wonder if the owner of Feastivities ever tastes their own food. Then again, considering that precooked food arrived in unrefrigerated trucks several hours before serving, we should have known what to expect. We were led to believe that the food would be prepared fresh at the party, when in fact it was just being warmed up (yes, even the fillet mignon)! Sorry to say that we would not recommend Feastivities Catering.
