I have given this restaurant many chances to redeem itself after having food that was overcooked and bland. That is not the worst part....the worst part is the management. They are rude....They also make up their own prices . That was the straw that broke the camels back. After I received the inflated bill I went up to talk to the manager. The manager told me that the prices went up on the specials but they have not changed it in the menu yet. While he tells me that, the woman behind the counter next to him is making nasty faces at us (the look was how dare us question them). I cannot understand how restaurants like this exist!!!!! Lousy food and terrible management.

The food was okay, the prices a little high, as you can see for yourself. I'm not a sushi expert to know how good the stuff was, but we were satisfied with taste and preparation. I didn't have the experience this other reviewer had, so perhaps it has improved in the past couple of years. If you decide you don't like it from the outside, there is an Indian restaurant and a Cosi nearby. It wasn't crowded even at lunch during the week. OK, apparently I can't easily paste a link in here. Maybe you can figure out what to do with this. I feel like I am writing up a spam message, disguising the intention from the citysearch computers. My company just moved to a building near the Lotus Inn so I went to there with my friend to get some take-out for lunch today and what a disappointment. I ordered the 3 eggs rolls for my friend & for me I got the Lunch Special..Chicken with Broccoli. With the lunch special, you are supposed to get soup & salad with the main dish but when I got my order, the salad & soup was not there. I told the cashier who took my order that my salad & soup are not in the bag and he said that I did not tell him I wanted the lunch special. But I did tell him because he asked me what kind of soup did I want & I said Hot & Sour. I think he forgot to write it down and was denying it. My friend even told him I asked for the Lunch Special but he kept arguing with me that I did not. So I let it go but then he said the total was $14.80 when it should have only been about $10.00!!! I said to him that I was getting over charged. He told me I was not. I got to a point that I told him forget about the money, the soup & salad and said that I'm never coming back to this dump again. Then I said that Im letting everyone in my office that eats Chinese to never go there. He said he did not care because they get enough customers already!! That was uncalled for!!! Anyways, when I finally got back to work and ate the food it was terrible. Over cooked and tasteless!!! Never go to the Lotus Inn!!!
