They are SO rude! It's unreal!.
I've been ordering pizza from these guys once or twice a week for about 3 years. I'm done. I seriously can't bring myself to do it ever again. I can't believe they are still in business with the way they treat their customers. The pizza is good, but they are so unbelievably rude. I do not need to be coddled, believe me, but they do not say hello, thank you, they act like you are annoying them for being there and NO it is not just when they are busy!
The older man with white hair is the worst of them all, but all of the employees are rude. Do yourself a favor and order elsewhere- Berwyn Pizza, Bravissimo, Mario's or Dimeo's. You'll get just as good pizza without someone making you feel like a piece of crap.

Food and Value Trumps All!. The food is FANTASTIC! From the pizza to the steaks to the hoagies to the pasta. My family has tried it all, and loved every bite. What people don't seem to understand is that they're BUSY. Friday nights are a zoo, so if you want more attention, some gratitude, then don't come during their busy times and for heaven's sake, know what you want! I've overheard customers over the years take too much time to order, or want their food a certain special way. To be honest, it would even make me cranky. I go for the food and the value. I appreciate all the years I've gone to Phil's, regardless as to whether or not I get a smile or not!

Surprise. Decided to try it on recommendation of two different families in paoli and berwyn. Called the order in at 7:20pm. One large pizza half sausage and peperonni. Said will be ready in 45 minutes. Went in fourty minutes. Pizza was cold chess was hard. Ordered a steak stromboli with fried onions motz and provalone. The onions were too chunky, The bread was over cooked and dry not glazed with an egg wash or butter. 1 order of onion rings with what seems to be no real onion inside, just onion flavored dough. A garden salad that was obviously not made on the premises. I found it over rated and not focused on quality preparation not to mention a small order was $40.00. I am Michael Shuler of paoli
