Paoli Baxter's has a different owner.
The Baxter's in Paoli does NOT have the same owner as 101 Bridge or Baxter's Phoenixville. Ed Kunz has been the owner since June 2008. I'm sorry for Sidsue's experience in Phoenixville, but don't condemn a great restaurant in Paoli for the sins of another. Paoli Baxter's is a fun & friendly place with great food & reasonable prices. Give it a try. You won't be sorry!

Baxter's in Paoli-A little piece of heaven.
Baxter’s in Paoli is a great find! Locally, you can’t do better than to spend an evening at Baxter’s in Paoli. The service is friendly, prompt without hovering. The menu selections are endless. The appetizers are amazing! Try the mozzarella sticks! The burgers are the best in the area. Please don’t leave without dessert. We love the New York style cheesecake! The wait staff could be stand up comics and when they have live music you will find yourself spending a couple of hours there! You are in for a treat when you visit this little piece of heaven tucked away in the Paoli Shopping center next to a paint store!

Go to Baxter's if you want the WORST Customer Service EVER! The owners of Baxter's also owned the restaurant named 101 in Phoenixville. 101 is now called Baxter's in Phoenixville. I had booked a party for over 50 people at the restaurant in Phoenixville. I had selected the menu and made arrangements for the service and bar. I kept in weekly contact with the manager concerning the event. Three days before the event I called the manager to again confirm the arrangements. I then received very upsetting information. He told me the doors were locked at 101 and the party could not be held there. As you can imagine I was very upset. At the last minute I had find another location to hold the party and I had to contact everyone on the invitation list. This was extremely unprofessional. No one called me, I had to call the restaurant manager to find this horrible news. I am so surprised at the complete LACK of customer service. They did not keep their commitment to having my party and they were not even going to contact me. If I had not reached their restaurant manager my guest would have showed up to a closed restaurant. After this happened I sent a letter to Baxter's owners. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt to make sure they were informed of this situation. They never contacted me. From this situation, it is clear why they are having so many problems running their restaurants.

Forgot to say: Filet Mignon is Great!.
Almost forgot to mention that the Filet Mignon is excellent - presentation, portion, and taste! My mom and friend, both, had hot-turkey sandwiches. They agreed that they were also excellent. My nephew (2yo) truly enjoyed his grilled cheese and french fries, too!
