Union Roofing Contractors, Inc. has recently had time to go on and review our 'reviews'. Upon reviewing these reviews, Union Roofing Contractors, Inc. feels as though they have been posted by another roofing company, as there are MANY other roofing companies who are jealous that we are more successful in the roofing industry than they are. We also feel that it is absolutely UNJUST that we cannot respond to indiviual complaints on this website. How are we supposed to adress complaints as a REPUTABLE business if we are not even given the opportunity to defend ourselves. We would like all of these reviews removed immediately before we have to involve our attorneys for slander.

Beware of Union Roofing, Frank Jr. In particular. June 09 paid twice as much as I should have for what I was told was to be a "new roof" but turned out to be new tar job over existing decking. Paid $3,200 to tar a flat row house roof! frank Jr. Gave me a document saying it was warranted 10 years.

May 12 Frank Jr. arrives at my door. He states he needs to "check the roof" since it's been three years since the roof was done. He drives his ladder truck behind the house. Then the tar guys shows up with their rig too. By this time I've located my file with the 10 year warranty. I open my back window and ask Frank Jr. What's going on? Oh he needed a longer ladder. I say, just so you understand me clearly, I don't plan on any money changing hands today. So you're not doing anything that costs me something, right? He gives me the disgusted head move, and says, "you better be nice to me or I'm going to leave, and then you'll be in trouble" I replied, "I have no obligation to be especially nice to you, because I have a piece of paper from you stating I have a ten year warranty, and I'm just telling you I'm not paying anything today for whatever you're doing, all right?" guess what, they all left. There was no talking about the checking. Just watch out for this guy.

RUN! (THEY'LL RIP YOU OFF & TREAT YOU LIKE CRAP!). Unfortunately, it seems like the roofing industry in Philly is full of con artists & manipulators, and UNION ROOFING is no exception. Beware of Frank Jr. arriving to your house at 6:30 am to overwhelm you with all the problems with your existing roof, even if it was them that originally installed it. When I moved in, I needed a roofing certificate immediately to gain insurance approval, and because of the urgency, I didn't have enough time to shop around....what a mistake. I basically paid the same price for a tar & paper roof as a rubber roof would've cost from another vendor. I got ripped off, you shouldn't...protect yourself from these idiots.

GREAT SERVICE!!!. Philly Roofing is a great roofing company. They are prompt, courteous, professional and are more than willing to accommodate to certain circumstances. They showed up on time, gave me a good deal and were honest and upfront at all times. Philly Roofing is my number one choice for roofing!

Never a problem. I've been using Union Roofing all of my life. I recommend them to all of my friends and family. I have always been treated well and given options for the work that needed to be completed. The girls in the office corrected paperwork quickly and diligently. In addition to that, Union was more than willing to give a Philadelphia Police discount. Union also linked us with a public adjuster with a reasonable rate.

TROUBLE WITH THE UNION. I am a 52 year old home owner in Philadelphia and I invested a lot of money getting reparirs to thr roof and siding done by Union Roofing. Some of thier work was leaking I called for some help and was spoken to like a 2 year old child who just got into trouble. The caller from Union roofing was very rude and didn't want me to explain anything to him. Before our conversation was ended he rudely hung up on me that was Tuesday 06-14-11@6:30A. I was at work and he refused to listen to my problem concerning thier work. He also insisted I be there with the oringinal paperwork, don't they know what they just did. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Biggest Scam artists around!!!. They will take your money, and do a horrible job. The guys are arrogant, rude, obnoxious.... I would NEVER reccomend them to anyone! Rediculous....
