Get your shoes repaired quick!. There aren't many shoe repair shops in South Philadelphia and during a frantic search before going out of town I came across Dom's Shoe Repair. He was wonderful. He didn't know me from Adam, but when I told him I was going 'cross country, he offered to get them done asap--and he did! That was a year ago and I've been going to him ever since...and he's still very accomodating...plus, his repairs really last. I was going through my summer sandals and they were all still good to go; so, I brought him my winter shoes. BTW, he fixes handbags too!!! He's also very friendly and will hold a conversation with you while you're waiting. And, in a real emergency--he'll get a pair of shoes done for ya in a pinch. I'm very pleased with him.
