Great Neighborhood Feel. I've been to Headhunters once and had good experience. The atomosphere is clean and modern. It is one of the few places I've passed in the neighborhood in which I can imagine I would be seated next to someone under 70.

The staff were very friendly and squeezed me in with only one days notice. I was actually late for my appointment, but the staff was very understanding and sat me as soon as I got there. They don't seem busy, but have a steady flow of neighborhood clientale. The staff seem to have a good rapport with each other and the clients. In fact, my only complaint would be that the hairdressers were overly chatty with one another while working with clients. It makes me nervous when I feel like hairdressers aren't focusing solely (or mainly) on the task at hand. I like to feel like I'm being served by someone who is paying close attention to delivering a quality outcome, rather than catching up on neighborhood gossip.

My haircut was pretty good (didn't get color or nails). Nothing unbelievably fabulous, but no traumatic mistakes either! The best party is that its the first time in recent history that I've paid less than $70 for a haircut. You can get a wash, cut, and blowdry for about $30. In short, I'm not sure I'll be regular. But, in a pinch I'd make an appointment again.
